From what I understand, very strict non-disclosure agreements have to be signed to get your currencies exchanged. They will monitor people very closely, and if they say so much as a peep, the money, which is held in a special account, will be confiscated! I know this, because I have friends who hold these currencies, and they get the real updates.
They will get a phone call, and have a meeting, and only after they sign the agreement and have shown what humanitarian projects they have planned, will the money be released to the special account. They will be able to see that the money is there, but there will be a hold on it, for specific amount of time, to keep people from going ape with the money.
