Are We Really Free? Maybe It’s Time For A Personal Declaration Of Independence

i was “sick of it” by the time i was 21…

******

Via The Organic Prepper blog,

How independent are any of us, really?

We like to think we live in the “free-est” nation in the world, but do we really?  Think about it.

  • You never own your home outright, even when the mortgage is paid off. Every year, you must make your extortion payment to the city or trust me, you won’t be living in that house for long.
  • The same thing with your car. If you don’t pay your annual extortion payment on your vehicle and pay a hundred bucks for a tiny sticker that gives you permission to drive it, it will be promptly towed away by the city with the government’s blessing. Then, like a hostage negotiation gone wrong, you’ll have to pay even more money to cover their theft and storage of YOUR vehicle.
  • On a regular basis, you must pay a fee and ask the government for permission to do any number of things, such as driving a car, traveling outside the country, running a business, adding another bathroom to your home, or even catching a fish for dinner.
  • Permits and licenses are big revenue generators from start to finish – and if you proceed without asking permission, they will extort more money from you in the form of fines. If you refuse to pay the fines (or if you can’t) they’ll kidnap you and lock you in a cage, where you’ll be forced to perform manual labor for 10 cents an hour for whatever length of time the legal authorities feel is sufficient to teach you a lesson.
  • There are places in our nation where you can’t use your property the way you want. There are areas where you cannot collect the water that falls on your land. There are places where you aren’t allowed to detach your home from the grid. There are places that dictate where your vegetable garden can grow (or even if you’re allowed to have one), places that won’t allow you to hang your clothes out to dry, and places that make it illegal to sleep in your car.

The bottom line is, some places in the United States are freer than others, but we’re all still serfs paying fealty to lords.

I’m sick of it.

TheGrowingAwareness ~ 4th Of July … No John … Future Proves Past

editor victoria’s comment ~ my feel on this – there was no plan for him to publicly reveal – come out fully for all to see.  that would be too obvious.  but he did find a way to make an appearance.  interesting reference to that possible appearance at around the 26 minute mark. the fact that the airports were closed for the ceremonies and thus the air space was heavily controlled, he would be safe to do a flyover like that….

An interesting experience today….

a brief – but powerful experience….

i was getting the table put together for dinner.  the radio was on.  as i walked out of the room to tend to something else, david bowie’s “let’s dance” came on.  i used to love that song but knowing what i do now, i’m not such a fan.  the song continued and when it came to “put on your red shoes…” i felt something within my core – stopped – and said “NO.  i will not listen to this song.  i don’t allow it in my space.” i turned to head back into the kitchen to turn it off but something strange happened – the song stopped and there was silence.  i started to ask my girl if she turned off the radio (she hadn’t) but before i could, a new song began to play.

there you go.

love,

victoria

Jeffrey Epstein Arrested for Sex Trafficking of Minors

editor victoria’s comment ~ i wasn’t sure if this was legit so i looked for other sources and found many saying the same, including the NY Times.  finally happening…

******

Jeffrey Epstein was arrested on Saturday and will appear in New York court on Monday to be charged with sex trafficking, according to multiple law enforcement sources.

Billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was arrested for allegedly sex trafficking dozens of minors in New York and Florida between 2002 and 2005, and will appear in court in New York on Monday, according to three law enforcement sources. The arrest, by the FBI-NYPD Crimes Against Children Task Force, comes about 12 years after the 66-year-old financier essentially got a slap on the wrist for allegedly molesting dozens of underage girls in Florida.

For more than a decade, Epstein’s alleged abuse of minors has been the subject of lawsuits brought by victims, investigations by local and federal authorities, and exposés in the press. But despite the attention cast on his alleged sex crimes, the hedge-funder has managed to avoid any meaningful jail time, let alone federal charges.

The new indictment—which, according to two sources, will be unsealed Monday in Manhattan federal court—will reportedly allege that Epstein sexually exploited dozens of underage girls in a now-familiar scheme: paying them cash for “massages” and then molesting or sexually abusing them in his Upper East Side mansion or his palatial residence in Palm Beach. Epstein will be charged with one count of sex trafficking of minors and one count of conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking of minors—which could put him away for a maximum of 45 years. The case is being handled by the Public Corruption Unit of the Southern District of New York, with assistance from the district’s human-trafficking officials and the FBI.

By Associated Press

PLANTATION, Fla. (AP) — A vacant pizza restaurant exploded Saturday in a thundering roar at a South Florida shopping plaza, injuring more than 20 people as large chunks of concrete flew through the air.

The blast flung debris widely along a busy road in Plantation, west of Fort Lauderdale. The restaurant was destroyed, and nearby businesses and cars were damaged. Though firefighters found ruptured gas lines afterward, authorities said it was too early to determine a cause.

“We thought it was thunder at first, and then we felt the building shake and things started falling. I looked outside and it was almost like the world was ending,” said Alex Carver, a worket at a deli across the street from the explosion. “It was nuts, man. It was crazy.”
