Do you ever wonder why Oregon’s COVID shutdowns were so harsh?

I was thinking about it today while watching Fauci push vaccines door to door.

On April 13, 2020, Oregon’s own U.S. Senator Ron Wyden posted this:

“I have known Anthony Fauci for years and would trust my family’s health with him any day of the week. The American people need to know the facts. Donald Trump must not sideline this vital voice.”

Kate Brown issued Executive Order 20-12 21 days before on March 23, 2020.

This was the formal, legally enforceable statewide stay-at-home order that directed Oregonians to stay home except for essential activities and closed many non-essential businesses.

Here’s the part that raises real questions for me:

Public records show that both Wyden and Fauci were present at the same congressional hearing on December 4, 2019 — more than three months before Oregon’s shutdown.

The hearing was titled “Flu Season: U.S. Public Health Preparedness and Response.” Fauci testified as a witness. Wyden spoke during the same session.

Wyden has publicly said he has “known Anthony Fauci for years.”

That December 2019 hearing is documented proof they were in the same room well before the pandemic response locked down Oregon.

So the timeline looks like this:

-December 4, 2019: Wyden and Fauci at the same hearing

-First reported human cases of the virus in China on December 31, 2019

-The first confirmed case of COVID-19 in the United States was identified on January 20, 2020 (returned from Wuhan)

-Oregon’s first confirmed case of COVID-19 was identified on February 28, 2020

-March 23, 2020: Oregon’s formal stay-at-home order

-April 13, 2020: Wyden publicly praises Fauci and says he would trust his family’s health to him

How much did Wyden know BEFORE the shutdown that closed businesses, destroyed livelihoods, and put the state in near-total control of daily life?

Oregon’s restrictions were some of the longer and stricter in the country.

We, the people who lived through them deserve clear answers about the judgment and relationships of the officials who imposed them.

🦔AI companies are bulk-buying rare books, scanning them through high-speed machines that cut the spines off, and shredding the originals. A service called ISBNdb facilitates orders of up to a million books and keeps buyers anonymous. Pre-2022 books are premium because they’re free of AI-generated text. A federal judge ruled the practice is fair use because eliminating the original means only one copy exists at a time. Anthropic hired the former head of Google Books partnerships to obtain “all the books in the world.”

My Take
This got to me. A bookseller told 404 Media that rare books with almost no surviving copies are being fed into this pipeline. Books that survived wars, fires, and centuries of handling are being shredded so an AI can learn to write a better marketing email.
ISBNdb’s website literally says “‘AI company destroys two million books’ is not a headline that generates sympathy,” and they still built an entire business around making it happen quietly. They offer NDAs as a feature. They coach clients to call it “digital preservation.”

I’ve covered AI companies scraping the internet, torrenting libraries, and stealing music. This is worse because it’s irreversible. You can re-upload a website. You can reprint a bestseller. You can’t replace the last three copies of an 18th-century botanical text once someone shreds them for training data. And the judge said it’s legal. So it’s going to accelerate.
“We shred rare books and offer NDAs so nobody finds out” is a legitimate business model in 2026. What a timeline.

The swamp creatures go after each other. So – classic. 🙄 Will something happen? Anyone else? Today I was awoken early by the sound of thunder – which was quite nice once I reassured my body the sky wasn’t falling. It was LOUD – right overhead. So still not a nice way to wake up. For FY27, the Pentagon has requested an unprecedented $1.5 trillion defense budget but that is split with $1.15 trillion in the base budget and an additional $350 billion in a reconciliation pot. 

The now House-approved version authorizes the Pentagon to spend $1.15 trillion next year while including “right to repair” provisions and $500 million for a second destroyer.

Meanwhile, members of the Senate Armed Services Committee approved their version of the $1.14 trillion FY27 defense policy bill back in June, but Senate Democrats have blocked it from moving to the floor over opposition to the war with Iran and concerns about the defense spending growth.

If and when the Senate approves the policy legislation, the House and Senate then typically hammer out the differences between the two versions before each chamber again votes on a final version.

Didn’t look. Well, I did – but promptly forgot what I saw – except for this find on Antarctica (below).

Spent the day doing this and doing that. I ordered some back to school supplies only this time they are for me. Felt like a kid again. Got things organized. Went for a bike ride. Sat at a park on a lone bench. Chatted with a friend. Let the breeze (FINALLY) cool me down. The skies were quite ugly earlier today. Clouds and fake clouds. Air humid. Hot. Until we have real weather and until the skies are clear of poisonous trails – THEN I will fully believe “patriots are in control”. I get the whole timeline jumping and merging and changing and shifting – but until those skies are clear – the war is still going – and as long as the war is still going – we do not yet have a winner we can see.

I’m looking for a little extra help. Some of us simply have this knowing that Antarctica is one of the KEY places here – KEY to this place inside and all of its controls – and KEY to outside real world. I find it interesting how these large air masses are being microwave
directed to go straight into Antarctica. I am sure they have all the

Most people interpret this as failure.

👉 It’s called an extinction burst — and it means the code is dying.

Here’s the mechanism:

In behavioral psychology, an extinction burst is what happens when a reinforced behavior stops being rewarded. Before the behavior disappears, it intensifies. The system throws everything it has at reestablishing the old pattern — one last surge of energy to test whether the boundary will hold.

Your operating system does the same thing.

When you reprogram your identity — when you declare new Operating Parameters and begin running new code — the subconscious does not switch quietly.

It was running the old code for years.

Decades.

It built neural pathways.
It stored the somatic signature in your fascia.
It wired your RAS to filter for evidence that supports the old identity.

And now you’re telling it to stop.

So it panics.

The old thoughts come back louder.
The old emotional patterns hit harder.
The old triggers feel more activated than ever. The body itself may resist — fatigue, tension, restlessness, even illness.

This is not the work failing.

The code doesn’t die quietly. It makes noise on the way out. And if you don’t know what’s happening, that noise sounds exactly like evidence that you should stop.

The Counterfeit Spirit will use the extinction burst as its best material. “See? It’s getting worse. You’re not cut out for this. Go back to what you know.”

It’s not wrong that it’s getting worse.
It IS getting worse — temporarily.
That’s the mechanism.
The pattern intensifies before it breaks.

Here’s what to do:

Hold the line.

Not with force.
With awareness.
