My Take This got to me. A bookseller told 404 Media that rare books with almost no surviving copies are being fed into this pipeline. Books that survived wars, fires, and centuries of handling are being shredded so an AI can learn to write a better marketing email. ISBNdb’s website literally says “‘AI company destroys two million books’ is not a headline that generates sympathy,” and they still built an entire business around making it happen quietly. They offer NDAs as a feature. They coach clients to call it “digital preservation.”
I’ve covered AI companies scraping the internet, torrenting libraries, and stealing music. This is worse because it’s irreversible. You can re-upload a website. You can reprint a bestseller. You can’t replace the last three copies of an 18th-century botanical text once someone shreds them for training data. And the judge said it’s legal. So it’s going to accelerate. “We shred rare books and offer NDAs so nobody finds out” is a legitimate business model in 2026. What a timeline.

The swamp creatures go after each other. So – classic. 🙄 Will something happen? Anyone else? Today I was awoken early by the sound of thunder – which was quite nice once I reassured my body the sky wasn’t falling. It was LOUD – right overhead. So still not a nice way to wake up. That ole “JOLT” then “oh God this reality is still the same I can feel it”. It is not just a trauma response – it’s a soul-level despair that needs a NEW WAY OF LIVING THAT IS SUPPORTOVE and not punitive or challenging. NO BLOCKS. No “you cannot do that because you don’t have the money”. No more $7 eggs or $7 loaves of bread or $5 – $6/lb for FRUIT! O M G JUST NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!

The NDAA is separate from the defense spending bill and designed to set policy for the coming year while authorizing spending levels for the base budget. For FY27, the Pentagon has requested an unprecedented $1.5 trillion defense budget but that is split with $1.15 trillion in the base budget and an additional $350 billion in a reconciliation pot.
The now House-approved version authorizes the Pentagon to spend $1.15 trillion next year while including “right to repair” provisions and $500 million for a second destroyer.
Meanwhile, members of the Senate Armed Services Committee approved their version of the $1.14 trillion FY27 defense policy bill back in June, but Senate Democrats have blocked it from moving to the floor over opposition to the war with Iran and concerns about the defense spending growth.
If and when the Senate approves the policy legislation, the House and Senate then typically hammer out the differences between the two versions before each chamber again votes on a final version.

Didn’t look. Well, I did – but promptly forgot what I saw – except for this find on Antarctica (below).
Spent the day doing this and doing that. I ordered some back to school supplies only this time they are for me. Felt like a kid again. Got things organized. Went for a bike ride. Sat at a park on a lone bench. Chatted with a friend. Let the breeze (FINALLY) cool me down. The skies were quite ugly earlier today. Clouds and fake clouds. Air humid. Hot. Until we have real weather and until the skies are clear of poisonous trails – THEN I will fully believe “patriots are in control”. I get the whole timeline jumping and merging and changing and shifting – but until those skies are clear – the war is still going – and as long as the war is still going – we do not yet have a winner we can see.
I’m looking for a little extra help. Some of us simply have this knowing that Antarctica is one of the KEY places here – KEY to this place inside and all of its controls – and KEY to outside real world. Seeing this is the only thing that grabbed my attention today. Either trying to change the structure. Melt some ice. Turn something off – or perhaps on. Like we know this realm just sits still, more or less. Stationary. Objects rotate around us. I’m saying that because as I’m sitting here typing I got this image of a massive object – round (us perhaps) – firing up – slowly spinning.
Dan.a.k.a.bradpitt @danakabradpitt I find it interesting how these large air masses are being microwave directed to go straight into Antarctica. I am sure they have all the scientific mother of nature literature on this but that is over ridden at this point due to them hijacking earths climate. Also emphasize microwave here because its like that every week, sharp edges just being pushed straight down there.
