Social media “friends” list went down today – mostly of my own doing. After being called a deadbeat mom, after being told I offer nothing of value to inspire people to donate, after having religion pushed on me while ignoring my boundaries as I state that is not my thing – after being unheard after my specific requests for the specific kind of help I seek – and if I share how that hurts I become the “problem”. Oh yeah? Well…..I. have. had. it. Gloves are off – anyone who crosses those boundaries again with me – they. are. removed. No second chances with me now. And it has surprised me – shocked me actually – how these have been women doing this. As women – as sister’s – we are supposed to be SUPPORTING each other – not attacking. No criticizing. Listening, not overpowering and silencing. It’s a shit show out there – it’s hard on all of us. Kindness goes a long way as does compassion. Even if someone can’t help – show that kindness and compassion. I know what feels safe. And as F. Gump said – “I may not be a smart man, but I know what love is.” Indeed. And I give deep thanks to those who did show up today, hearing me, holding space.

It has always shocked and disappointed me that women are often cruel and heartless when it comes to supporting other women. It’s something I have never understood – the idea of “I pulled myself up without anybody’s help and I’m not going to help anyone else trying to rise”. Though my own mother lacked real maternal instinct, she was a woman who was successful in the world (and pulled herself up with no help from others) and she ALWAYS, without fail took other women under her wing. She supported them in their goals, guided them, taught them, and NEVER denigrated them. That was the one valuable gift she gave me – to be supportive of those who are struggling. When women in our current culture are suppressed in so many ways over which we have no control, the major responsibility we have after taking care of ourselves, is to reach out to other women and supply whatever type of support we can. There is not an excuse or a reason not to do so. Anybody who has shown you disrespect in any way, Victoria, is shameful and petty and fully in their egos. They certainly are not awakened beings worthy of a Golden Age. Until they can BE LOVE, they will stay in the darkness of this 3D plane.
