9/10/25 ~ Today’s Finds and Reflecting and some Puzzle Piecing

Today’s delta.

I’d say so.

I feel like I need to say “today’s looshing events” – because as most of you know there was a big one.  And I am just going to share what I found that aligns with my immediate thought was “sacrifice” and ongoing feel on this “big” one that it is not what we think it is.  It’s all over the media.  It came on the Eve of 9/11 – in Utah – which many say is Israel – aligning with some Q posts.

My one thought I shared was – where is this outrage when a child is killed on the world stage?  Because some are losing their minds atm over this.  Which perhaps was the goal all along for evil.  Also of note:  like the episode with the girl from Ukraine, he was also shot in the neck.  Interesting his organization is called Turning Point – and many are saying today is a turning point.

Here’s what I’m seeing.

So first we have Trump posting this interesting (feeeeeeeeeeeeels cryptic) post – that’s an unusually long time to fly a flag at half mast:

6:00 – where have we heard that number used?  Six O-Clock can be dangerous:

And that timestamp of 1:13 – could that indicate the first 11:3 marker?

I have felt before – what a good week to flip the script – the week of 9/11 – flip it all back on “them”….

HERE WE GO.  PRECIPICE.  SHOT HEARD AROUND THE WORLD.  BUCKLE UP BUTTERCUPS:

TOP TO BOTTOM – thought that was a weird thing to say:

More support for your nervous system from the newsletter I receive through Neurotoned:

Dear Victoria,

The most successful therapy session in the world becomes completely useless at 2 PM on a Tuesday when your nervous system hijacks your brain.

You know the scenario: You’ve just had a breakthrough session. Your therapist gave you the perfect breathing technique, grounding exercise, or mindfulness practice. You feel empowered, equipped, ready to handle whatever comes next.

Then life happens.

Your boss sends that email. The grocery store overwhelm hits. The 3 AM wake-up spirals into anxiety. And suddenly, every single tool you learned disappears into thin air.

Your rational brain knows what to do, but your nervous system has locked you out of the control room.

This isn’t failure. This isn’t weakness. This is neurobiology.

When your nervous system detects threat, it literally shuts down access to the parts of your brain that store coping strategies.

It’s like trying to remember your password while the smoke alarm is going off. Your system is too busy running emergency protocols to access the “helpful techniques” folder.

Your therapist’s homework isn’t working because your nervous system doesn’t feel safe enough to let you use it.

Your nervous system operates on a split-second threat detection system called “neuroception”—unconscious safety versus danger assessments that happen 11 million times faster than conscious thought.

By the time you’re consciously aware that you need a coping strategy, your nervous system has already made dozens of micro-decisions about whether the current environment is safe enough to access higher brain functions.

If the answer is no—if the fluorescent lights are triggering your vestibular system, if the noise level is overwhelming your auditory processing, if you can’t sense clear boundaries in your body—your nervous system blocks access to the prefrontal cortex where all your therapeutic tools live.

This is why you can remember every breathing technique perfectly in therapy but can’t access a single one when your toddler is having a meltdown in Target.

Most therapeutic approaches assume your nervous system is calm enough to receive and implement strategies. But for trauma survivors, highly sensitive people, and anyone whose threat detection system runs on high alert, this assumption is fundamentally flawed.

You need to create nervous system safety BEFORE you can access the tools, not after.

What if there was a way to teach your nervous system to recognize safety in real-time?

What if instead of waiting for activation and then trying to calm down, you could prevent unnecessary activation in the first place?

What if you could give your nervous system such clear, consistent safety information that your therapeutic tools became actually accessible when you need them?

This is where everything changes.

Your nervous system receives information through eight distinct channels—not just the five everyone knows about, but three hidden senses that control whether you feel fundamentally safe or threatened:

Vestibular (balance and spatial orientation) Proprioception (pressure and body boundaries) Interoception (internal body awareness)

When these three systems receive consistent “safety” inputs throughout your day, they create a foundation of regulation that keeps you in the optimal zone for accessing your tools.

Instead of waiting for crisis and then implementing 20-minute meditation practices, you can use 60-90 second sensory sequences throughout your day that maintain baseline safety.

Morning Foundation (90 seconds):

  • Orient: Scan your environment and identify three neutral or pleasant focal points
  • Pressure: Press palms together firmly, then place hands on thighs with sustained contact
  • Exhale: Five breaths where your exhale is longer than your inhale, noticing any softening

Midday Reset (60 seconds):

  • Ground: Press feet firmly into floor while seated, feeling the solid contact
  • Contain: Wrap arms around yourself or press back into your chair, creating clear body boundaries
  • Breathe: Match your breathing rhythm to your heartbeat for 30 seconds

Transition Protocol (between activities, 30 seconds):

  • Pause: Stop and notice where you are physically
  • Orient: Look around and identify your spatial position
  • Settle: One long exhale while pressing hands into whatever surface is available

Evening Integration (2 minutes):

  • Trace: Use fingertips to trace the edges of your pillow, chair, or body
  • Weight: Apply gentle pressure to shoulders, arms, or legs
  • Rhythm: Gentle swaying or rocking while focusing on internal sensations

These micro-doses work WITH your nervous system’s natural threat detection processes instead of trying to override them.

You’re not forcing calm—you’re providing consistent sensory information that allows your system to accurately assess safety.

When your eight senses are regularly receiving “all clear” signals, your nervous system spends more time in the window where you CAN access your therapeutic tools, implement healthy boundaries, and make conscious choices instead of reactive ones.

The difference between coping and preventing:

Traditional approaches: Wait for activation → Try to calm down → Often fail because nervous system is too dysregulated to implement tools

Sensory Safety approach: Create baseline regulation throughout the day → Maintain access to tools → Use therapeutic techniques from a place of relative calm instead of crisis

This changes everything about how healing works.

Instead of oscillating between calm (in therapy) and chaos (in real life), you create a stable foundation that makes your existing tools actually usable.

  1. Re Charlie…& school shooting-timing is not coincidental. 9/11 …Civil war murmurings…and as always, coming to take away 2nd amendment rights. All of above…and then some. Feels like we’re being played once more.
