ODESSA, TEXAS – Odessa Police Chief Michael Gerke says that at least 21 people have been injured by gunfire and five killed in a shooting in West Texas.

At a news conference Saturday, Gerke also says that at least three law enforcement officers were among those shot.

BREAKING: Midland PD officials report active shooter in Odessa Home Depot

ODESSA (KFDX/KJTL) — Officials with the Midland Police Department have reported an active shooter situation in an Odessa Home Depot Saturday afternoon.

There is no word on injuries at this time, but we have reached out to our sister station in Abilene as well as the Midland Police Department for information.

On their Facebook page, Midland PD officials said they believe there are two shooters in two separate vehicles.

According to the post, “one suspect is believed to be at the Cinergy in Midland and the other is believed to be driving on Loop 250 in Midland. The two vehicles in question are gold/white small Toyota truck and a USPS Postal Van. Please stay away from these areas and stay indoors.”

feeling into this as i read it – what is worse than treason?  trafficking humans – especially children.  and the horrors (satanic) that have gone along with that.

SB2 leaves out the inner dimensional stuff  when referring to the cleaning up of the Swamp (he says it’s 3-fold) – which even though not “visible” – is the ultimate control system here being (LET US INTEND) cleaned up.

At 6’8”, fired FBI director James Comey moves through life like a shark’s fin, well above the water level set by the rest of us. This brings attention, which he appears to enjoy, perhaps even crave. He has become a public performer over the past three years, cultivating a disarming “aw shucks, lordy, lordy” persona while covering his damaging actions with milky platitudes.

The Department of Justice Inspector General just fired the first of three cruise missiles trained on Mr. Comey with devastating impact. Comey’s reaction? “Feel free to apologize to me.”

Rushing into victimland is a common strategy for the cornered. Another is staking out an imagined noble duty to a contrived higher authority — one that looks strikingly similar to the image he sees in the mirror each morning.

But here in the real world, this is what the IG’s investigation has confirmed: James Comey, as FBI director, created and maintained a separate record system that he kept in a desk drawer. He then also took most of those official records home. If that wasn’t enough recklessness, he leaked some of those records to the press after he was fired.

To Comey, all of this is justified because some hero has to rise up and stand in the breach. But the IG methodically lists the numerous policies Comey violated, policies carefully designed over time to prevent the abuse of authority by those who self-craft a “higher loyalty” in their minds, thereby exempting themselves from the rules. Comey was no hero; he was nothing more than an executive vigilante.

Creating a separate record system in the FBI is a mortal sin, and with good reason. Every newly minted agent at Quantico learns this as part of FBI 101. Anytime an FBI agent, to include the director, collects information in an official capacity, that information must be documented, associated with a case file number and entered into the FBI’s case management system. Comey never did that. In fact, his now infamous memos weren’t entered into the official FBI system until after he was fired. …..

Next up will be the IG’s findings regarding Comey’s truthfulness before the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court and whether he attested to false or misleading statements in order to electronically monitor a presidential campaign.

That determination may not be as cut-and-dried as many think it is, but it hopefully, at a minimum, will explain why Comey believed he could sign off multiple times on a FISA application based largely on information that he, himself, described as “salacious and unverified.” His exposure here is potentially much more devastating than breaking FBI record retention and handling rules.

Some local photos of what’s going on in my city

 

i’ve been doing this on twitter for awhile now and thought i would share here.  it is very sad.  dismaying.  disgusting and enraging.  for YEARS people here, myself included, have been very vocal in supporting and demanding more shelter space.  there is a huge lack of mental health help as well.  we have one hospital with inpatient and outpatient services.  getting someone admitted as an inpatient is very challenging – and even at that – what is needed are those hospital’s we once had that began being closed starting in the 70’s.

i have deep compassion for those who suffer such mental illness.  i have the same compassion for those who are homeless and addicts.  but i also have compassion for locals who respect their neighbors and their community. when the safety of ANY people is threatened by those engaged in ANY sort of power-over – mentally ill, high or sober (in this case – harassing, assaulting, threatening the people, relieving themselves in public, camping on bike ways and walking paths and dumping their trash anywhere they want including the local rivers) then something drastic needs to be done. isolation from society so the rest of the community can enjoy their city SAFELY.  if they want help – this needs to be provided.  if they refuse – then the isolation continues until they choose to be good community members.

these “trash dumps” are all over the place now.  and once people pick up the trash, those doing the dumping do it all over again.  local elected officials have more compassion for those engaging in this behavior.  why they are letting this filth continue – well only they can answer to that.  i saw where our downtown area now has a port-a-potty to give them another place to do their business (aside from the public restroom’s along the waterfront).  this weekend is a big football game at the big university.  i wonder how many out-of-towner’s will drive through downtown and get the visual appeal the local’s are privy to each day…

NOTE:  these are not my photos but those taken by others in a private local social media page i belong to that is addressing this issue and tagging city officials and putting the pressure on them to do what they are paid to do.  

this first photo was taken right next to a local creek today…….i am told it has since been cleaned up (for now)….

“NO PARKING” – but hey dump your trash here whenever you want.  the police won’t do anything about it.  they have been told to stand down and go light on these people…..(and when locals do pick up an area – another area of trash pops up)

and this is our (once beautiful) downtown….just read where earlier this evening there was an assault down by the post office….the homeless who live down there were involved…..early this week one of these mentally ill folks head-butted a man downtown – just because….such occurrences also happen by the once-considered-a-skatepark-for-kids-now-taken-over-by-the homeless addicts….

just feet from this first picture is a wonderful fountain that used to be safe for children and families to visit and play……we used to take our girl there often during the summer months…..fewer families are visiting there now……one local mama said earlier this week she was meeting another mama there for a play-date when one of the better known around town mentally ill homeless women approach this mama and began verbally accosting her – accusing her of “stealing” her clothing……just another day in paradise….

see this guy?  he decided he wanted a solar panel from the roof of a local business so he climbed up and took it.  he was later arrested – and released.  that happens a lot as well.  some of these folks, when arrested, often have warrants (outstanding) from other areas.  and some of them fail to show up for assigned court cases.

people capturing what’s going on in their area……..overall there has been less here………sometimes they appear “different”………but blue skies being returned?  nope.  not seeing it – and others aren’t as well.  the questions and doubts about this “plan” are still ever-present today.  it’s sad too – when i see people show impatience or doubt they receive criticism.  remember what happens when we have blind faith – esp. in those we don’t really know (much less see) – you can sometimes trip and fall or be pushed.  ALWAYS question those who are making plans while you sit as an audience member.
