WASHINGTON — The State Department has completed its internal investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s use of private email and found violations by 38 people, some of whom may face disciplinary action.
The department determined that those 38 people were “culpable” in 91 cases of sending classified information in messages that ended up in Clinton’s personal email. The 38 are current and former State Department officials but were not identified in the report that was sent to Congress this week.

On the day of the Sept. 26 raid, Lyons was also served with a federal grand jury subpoena demanding a wide range of records on a hotel and resort backed by Mayor Christopher Getty, the home security system at Getty’s residence and the entire Democratic Organization of Lyons Township — headed by state Sen. Steven Landek.

Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, the son of sharecroppers who rose to represent parts of Baltimore, the city where he was born and raised, died early Thursday at age 68.
The Maryland Democrat died at Gilchrist Hospice Care, which is affiliated with Johns Hopkins Hospital, at about 2:30 a.m. EDT from “complications concerning longstanding health challenges,” his office confirmed in a statement.
He underwent a medical procedure in September that had kept him from returning to work. On Sept. 30, he had told The Baltimore Sun that he expected to be back in Congress by mid-October.
