Could this be what Trump meant (and wanted us to look at) when he claimed “I Am The Chosen One”?

for those who don’t know the context of this, President Trump was giving a press report outside the White House recently.  as he spoke of China, he talked about how they took advantage of our country economically and how someone needed to stand up to them – how no previous administration did – until he came along.  that’s when he did his gesture and said “i am the chosen one”.  i found this one tonight.  Huawei – huge tech firm out of China – behind the dirty 5G tech.  hmmm….

and then i found this:

Jimmy Carter’s 1977 law gives Trump sweeping powers to block China trade

Legal scholars and trade policy experts say that President Trump is right to claim broad powers to prohibit companies from trading with foreign countries thanks to a 1977 law that has previously not garnered much attention outside the context of national security.

The law, the International Emergency Economic Powers Act signed by Democratic President Jimmy Carter, gives the president sweeping powers to restrict trade once a “national emergency” is declared.

“The president can impose a virtual embargo on a nation under IEEPA,” said John Yoo, director of the public law and policy program at the University of California at Berkeley and a former official in George W. Bush’s Office of Legal Counsel.

Amazon Fires – Conversation with Stan X of the Sphere Alliance….. and While Celebrities Pass Off Fake Pictures Of Burning Amazon, Here’s What The Raging Fires Actually Look Like

i have felt “off” about these fires – especially considering the celebrity attention on them – and given there are more fires going on in africa – see here and here.

the amazon rain-forest is something people are more emotionally invested in thus crying “the amazon is on fire!” is going to garner a lot of attention (and likely $LU$H funds for the elite crying to the public for help)….

And here’s another piece offering some different perspective than that of the MSM outlets:

While Celebrities Pass Off Fake Pictures Of Burning Amazon, Here’s What The Raging Fires Actually Look Like

The tens of thousands of fires burning in the Amazon right now have caught the attention of environmentalists, politicians and celebrities alike. Unfortunately, many of them have been spreading bad information in the form of decades-old pictures and incorrect facts, such as the claim that the Amazon is the “lungs of the world,” according to Forbes.

Singers and actors including Madonna and Jaden Smith shared photos on social media that were seen by tens of millions of people. “The lungs of the Earth are in flames,” said actor Leonardo DiCaprio. “The Amazon Rainforest produces more than 20% of the world’s oxygen,” tweeted soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo. “The Amazon rain forest — the lungs which produce 20% of our planet’s oxygen — is on fire,” tweeted French President Emanuel Macron. –Forbes

And while the fires raging in the Amazon are undoubtedly concerning, “the photos weren’t actually of the fires and many weren’t even of the Amazon,” according to Forbes.

The photo Ronaldo shared was taken in southern Brazil, far from the Amazon, in 2013. The photo that DiCaprio and Macron sharedis over 20 years oldThe photo Madonna and Smith shared is over 30. Some celebrities shared photos from Montana, India, and Sweden. –Forbes

“It’s bullshit,” said Dan Nepstad – one of the world’s leading experts on the Amazon forest. “There’s no science behind that. The Amazon produces a lot of oxygen but it uses the same amount of oxygen through respiration so it’s a wash.

Also debunked is a claim by CNN that the fires are burning at a record rate, as well as a claim by a leading climate reporter that “The current fires are without precedent in the past 20,000 years.”

According to Nepstad, the number of fires in 2019 is just 7% higher than average over the last 10 years.

So what do the fires actually look like?

Here are some current photos of the devastation by photographer Leonardo Carrato, via Bloomberg

The Amazon biome accounted for 52% of Brazil’s fire reports this year, with more than 40,000 outbreaks since January, according to data from INPE.

In August alone more than 26,000 fires were detected there.

Conservation efforts had limited Amazon deforestation, but data from INPE show that trend broke in 2012. Tree losses soared 73 percent between 2012 and 2018, coinciding with a period of economic malaise.

Former Uber Self-Driving Car Executive Indicted For Alleged Theft Of Trade Secrets From Google

SAN JOSE – A federal grand jury in San Jose has indicted Anthony Scott Levandowski on theft of trade secrets charges, announced United States Attorney David L. Anderson and Federal Bureau of Investigation Special Agent in Charge John F. Bennett.

The indictment was returned on August 15, 2019, and unsealed on August 26, 2019.  The indictment alleges Levandowski, 39, of Marin County, was a Google engineer and one of the founding members of the group that worked on Google’s self-driving car project.  Levandowski worked on the project from 2009 until he resigned from Google without notice on January 27, 2016.

“All of us have the right to change jobs,” said U.S. Attorney Anderson, “none of us has the right to fill our pockets on the way out the door.  Theft is not innovation.”

At the time of his resignation, Levandowski was the lead of Google’s Light Detecting and Ranging (LiDAR) engineering team.  The indictment alleges that in the months before his departure, Levandowski downloaded from secure Google repositories numerous engineering, manufacturing, and business files related to Google’s custom LiDAR and self-driving car technology.  The files downloaded included circuit board schematics, instructions for installing and testing LiDAR, and an internal tracking document.  The indictment also alleges that at the time he took the files, Levandowski was involved with two companies competing with Google in the self-driving space: Tyto LiDAR LLC and 280 Systems, Inc., the latter of which would become Ottomotto.  Ottomotto acquired Tyto in May 2016, shortly after Uber Technologies, Inc. agreed to acquire Ottomotto and hire Levandowski.

The indictment charges Levandowski with 33 counts of theft and attempted theft of trade secrets, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1832.  He is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges on August 27, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. before U.S. Magistrate Judge Nathanael M. Cousins.

An indictment merely alleges that crimes have been committed, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum sentence of 10 years and a fine of $250,000, plus restitution, for each violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1832.  However, any sentence following conviction would be imposed by the court after consideration of the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and the federal statute governing the imposition of a sentence, 18 U.S.C. § 3553.

The prosecution is being handled by the Office of the U.S. Attorney, Northern District of California’s new Corporate Fraud Strike Force and is the result of an investigation by the FBI.

Prosecutors Near Decision on Whether to Seek an Andrew McCabe Indictment

WASHINGTON — Federal prosecutors in Washington appear to be in the final stages of deciding whether to seek an indictment of Andrew G. McCabe, the former deputy F.B.I. director and a frequent target of President Trump, on charges of lying to federal agents, according to interviews with people familiar with recent developments in the investigation.

In two meetings last week, Mr. McCabe’s lawyers met with the deputy attorney general, Jeffrey A. Rosen, who is expected to be involved in the decision about whether to prosecute, and for more than an hour with the United States attorney for the District of Columbia, Jessie K. Liu, according to a person familiar with the meetings. The person would not detail the discussions, but defense lawyers typically meet with top law enforcement officials to try to persuade them not to indict their client if they failed to get line prosecutors to drop the case.

An indictment of a former top F.B.I. official is extremely rare and would be the latest chapter in the saga of Mr. McCabe, who was fired last year over the issue now under criminal investigation — whether he failed to be forthcoming with internal investigators examining the F.B.I.’s dealings with the news media.

Vincent Kennedy Tweet on exposing their Symbolism

showing the simulation – right in our face…..

then one of the people commenting ascertained that the LRH could indicate L. Ron Hubbard and then found this piece of intel:

Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard Offered Rewards For Celebrity Recruits In 1955

Plenty of celebrities practice Scientology today. However, when the religion first started out, Church of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard had a few suggestions of his own for top recruits.

Filed under the name “Project Celebrity,” Hubbard announced a celebrity wish list to help spread word of his religion saying there are “many to whom America and the world listens.”

Published in the Xenu.net archives, the list appeared in an early 1955 “Ability” newsletter, a bulletin sent out to Scientology members. “Project Celebrity” contained 63 well-known celebrities comprised of athletes, actors, artists, writers, and singers from the ’50s.

Hubbard requested current followers to claim one celebrity, whom he referred to as “quarry,” and bring them in for a formal auditing session in which the celebrity would be told the benefits of Scientology and be made “much more effective.”

The note also says Project Celebrity was just one action of more to come. The announcement came complete with a plan of how to enlist “quarry” into the religion:

“These Celebrities are well guarded, well barricaded, over-worked, aloof quarry

If you want one of these celebrities as your game, write us at once so the notable will be yours to hunt without interference.”

If you were successful in converting a celebrity you’d even receive a token of thanks for your efforts.

If you bring one of them home you will get a small plaque as your reward.
