Plenty of celebrities practice Scientology today. However, when the religion first started out, Church of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard had a few suggestions of his own for top recruits.

Filed under the name “Project Celebrity,” Hubbard announced a celebrity wish list to help spread word of his religion saying there are “many to whom America and the world listens.”

Published in the Xenu.net archives, the list appeared in an early 1955 “Ability” newsletter, a bulletin sent out to Scientology members. “Project Celebrity” contained 63 well-known celebrities comprised of athletes, actors, artists, writers, and singers from the ’50s.

Hubbard requested current followers to claim one celebrity, whom he referred to as “quarry,” and bring them in for a formal auditing session in which the celebrity would be told the benefits of Scientology and be made “much more effective.”

The note also says Project Celebrity was just one action of more to come. The announcement came complete with a plan of how to enlist “quarry” into the religion:

“These Celebrities are well guarded, well barricaded, over-worked, aloof quarry

If you want one of these celebrities as your game, write us at once so the notable will be yours to hunt without interference.”

If you were successful in converting a celebrity you’d even receive a token of thanks for your efforts.

“If you bring one of them home you will get a small plaque as your reward.“

again – unconfirmed – but interesting given the recent announcement yesterday that she has “pancreatic cancer”.  and “received” is misspelled – twice – plus the use of the word “hate” is unnecessary.  however…. just thought i would pass this along…..

Ex-Overstock CEO Byrne Reveals FBI’s Peter Strzok Manipulated Him For ‘Political Espionage’

 

Former Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne claimed in a bombshell interview with Fox Business that he received “fishy” orders from former FBI official Peter Strzok.

Byrne, who admitted to helping the “men in black” on two previous occasions – a murder case and Wall Street investigations – said that the Obama DOJ was conducting “political espionage” on both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, according to Fox News.

Byrne said that all of the purported information he gleaned from his experiences ultimately landed in the hands of Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham, who has been conducting an investigation into the origins of the Russia probe at the behest of Attorney General William Barr. –Fox News

Trump rips Fed: ‘Who is our bigger enemy,’ Powell or China’s Xi?

President TrumpOpens a New Window. lashed out at the Federal ReserveOpens a New Window. after its chairman, Jerome Powell, stopped short of saying the U.S. central bank is prepared to cut interest rates for a second time this year.

In a tweet, Trump compared Powell — whom he’s repeatedly criticized, despite hand-picking him almost two years ago — to Chinese President Xi Jinping.

“As usual, the Fed did NOTHING!” Trump tweeted, initially misspelling Powell’s last name before changing it. “My only question is, who is our bigger enemy, Jay Powel or Chairman Xi?”

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg treated for new pancreatic cancer

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was recently treated for a “localized malignant tumor” on her pancreas, a court spokesperson said Friday.
“The tumor was treated definitively and there is no evidence of disease elsewhere in the body,” spokesperson Kathy Arberg said.

The news, coming during the court’s summer recess, is the second cancer scare for Ginsburg in the last year. In December 2018, doctors removed part of her lung after discovering cancerous nodules. Recovery from the surgery caused Ginsburg to miss public court sessions for the first time in her 25 years on the bench.

#MrMBB333 Nobody is sure WHY this is happening – Never before seen in RECORDED history!

 

i was not knowledgeable of how widespread and horrific these fires are – esp. in the amazon.  i read last night that the lungs of “mother earth” are burning.  i have felt – since tuning in to the idea that this is ending – that those in charge are going to continue creating destruction up until the last moment.  they seem to be at it w/these global fires.  this explain why my entire family began coughing in the past 10 days or so – with no explanation for it.  the dust.  the smoke from the fires in this realm.  to me i am feeling that this is showing how small this realm is.  this space in which we inhabit. when you have a situation where dust from africa can spill into the atmosphere and into the atlantic ocean and impact weather – yeah – this space is in truth quite small.

so my mate stepped up big this morning and added what i think may be the end of this show.  i had felt in recent days i had reached a point where my insights weren’t expanding and i had nothing new to offer.  last night i went to bed feeling overwhelmed and dismayed and energetically feeling at an even deeper level:  i simply cannot do this experience one more day.  but then as a woman spoke of last night in the comment section of lisa harrison’s latest video – when i get to that space where the anger and pain and all of those heaviest of the heavy of emotions overwhelm me and i think i cannot take one more second – the heart expands.  something new comes through.  and my mate shared something – his feel – that i will write up later and share.  and he got chills and i got tears.  as i said earlier before our conversation – either we’re seeing the chaos before we get out or we’re seeing the end for us all.  i have to trust that feeling within that says “all is ok.  you’re ok.  i’m ok.  ride it out.  hang on.  the exit out is very near.”
