Mattis Names Army Colonel as Guantanamo’s Chief War Court Judge

Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis has chosen an Army colonel with experience in handling terrorism cases — dating back to the 1986 Berlin disco bombing — to serve as chief judge of the Guantanamo war court, according to a document obtained by McClatchy.

Col. Douglas K. Watkins, 56, is currently handling hearings in the war crimes case against Guantanamo prisoner Majid Khan, a Baltimore-area high school graduate who was captured in Pakistan and held for years in CIA prisons. Khan has turned government witness and faces sentencing July 1.

Army Col. James L. Pohl had been chief judge since the Obama administration until he retired from 38 years in service last month. The brief opening meant that the war court overseer could not approve new cases, because there was no chief to assign a judge from an existing pool of military judges.

At a July hearing in the Khan case, Watkins described his 1980s service as a military policeman and Army police investigator, at one point at Berlin’s Checkpoint Charlie and in 1986 responding to the LaBelle nightclub bombing that killed a Turkish woman and two U.S. soldiers.

Federal Judge Releases Benghazi Evidence – Hillary Goes Into Complete Panic

It appears that it’s time for Hillary Clinton to “come to heel.” That massive closet full of skeletons she’s thought was locked up has been swung wide open as a brave federal judge released the Benghazi evidence we’ve all been waiting on.

Hillary may have thought she was above the law, but these heroes she ignored who died fighting because of her negligence deserve justice.

Fox News reports:

In a combative exchange at a hearing Friday in Washington, D.C., a federal judge unabashedly accused career State Department officials of lying and signing “clearly false” affidavits to derail a series of lawsuits seeking information about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email server and her handling of the 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth also said he was “shocked” and “dumbfounded” when he learned that FBI had granted immunity to former Clinton chief of staff Cheryl Mills during its investigation into the use of Clinton’s server, according to a court transcript of his remarks.

“I had myself found that Cheryl Mills had committed perjury and lied under oath in a published opinion I had issued in a Judicial Watch case where I found her unworthy of belief, and I was quite shocked to find out she had been given immunity in — by the Justice Department in the Hillary Clinton email case,” Lamberth said during the hearing.

Accused Treasury leaker had ‘co-conspirator’ in plot to spill dirt on Trump officials: court files

The Treasury Department employee charged Wednesday with leaking confidential financial files related to former Trump associates had a “co-conspirator” at the department who also exchanged several-hundred messages with a journalist, according to the criminal complaint.

The court papers do not name the higher-ranking “co-conspirator,” who has not been charged. But the complaint referred to the person as an “associate director” at the department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) to whom defendant Natalie Mayflower Sours Edwards reported.

The complaint states that this “co-conspirator not named as a defendant” exchanged more than 300 messages with a reporter through an “encrypted application.”

editor’s note:  this woman nails it – points to the obvious elephant in the room. it also hits home.  i tried relentlessly to break into the social service field.  in my area – all such work requires that you speak spanish.  i remember asking if the State would offer me free training.  nope.  i asked “why not?  when someone comes here from Mexico they are given free training to speak english.”  oh the person would have no answer to that.  i could take some classes – at my expense. it’s wrong.  it’s a disgrace.  and it was done intentionally.  bravo to this woman! heck, vote her in.  remove maxine – put her in!

Trump Calls Fed His Biggest Threat HATJ Reply

 

editor’s note:  before i comment on this i wanted to add something to the video i posted by linea earlier today about the image that flew in front of the moon (some say “hit” the moon).  i was reading through the comments for some reason (HA!) and linea said it was confirmed this was an image of the moon and that the livestream was taken offline right after this image was captured – and in fact this is when youtube was shutdown worldwide a few days ago.  something else to ponder….

now onto heather’s response to Trump allegedly saying the FED is his biggest threat.  that date mentioned – October 24.  that is a significant date to me.  first it is the 20 year anniversary of my mate and i.  second, in a dream i had earlier this year, my mate and i were outside packing up the house.  he had removed the mailbox and we put it on the side of the house – as a symbolic gesture that that way of being – that system – was gone.  in the experience, the sound of silence and calm in the air was unbelievable – beautiful.  i took his hand and said “we made it.  it only took us about 20 years.”  and lastly i awoke this morning and was tuning in – wanting info on “when do things END?  change?”  i heard “by next Wednesday”.  oh when is that date, i wondered, and calculated it out.  the 24th.  oooh interesting – anniversary date.  and then brother Rick passes this info along to me in a text message around dinnertime.  W O W is about all i could say…..as always, remaining discerning but a lot of puzzle pieces are coming together now – the energy around this feeling of “completion” is huge right now.  i feel it…[wp-svg-icons icon=”heart-2″ wrap=”i”]

the eye of “the storm” taking the stage now, and has until October 23, 2018, to “be all they can be” and “do all they can do”…all supported and assisted to “bring all home”…if not, on October 24, 2018, the stage goes Universal to overcome any and all remaining “short comings”, “para”lyzations, and to bring all home ❤️

i am confident that all can be done prior to October 24, 2018…and they all have my complete love, gratitude, and heartitude…heart by heart, side-by-side…all got this!!!!!

The event 2018. Something hit the moon. Dragon? Mirrored video.

 

editor’s note:  the object you are looking for is off to the left – almost looks like a cloud-like formation.  still trying to grasp what this could be.  is this a new sighting?  unusual?  not sure.  dragon as some are alluding to?  could be – looks like something huge flying (not a ship)…..interesting many of us have been feeling dragon’s (and i had to suddenly color one) – then a couple of days later Lisa Harrison says they “broke through” to our realm.  Last night I had some sort of a dragon dream – it’s fuzzy – i just woke up thinking of them.  my mate just watched it – i didn’t tell him anything about it – and he got chills and said “wow that looks like a dragon!”

The caravan of Hondurans that started out with 300 people has exploded to 4,000! Even though President Trump has warned the Honduran government to make the people turn around, they keep marching towards our border. Rep. Goetz posted a video on Twitter of men handing out money to people in the caravan. He asks the question of where the money is coming from and why they are handing out cash to people. Great question!
