Video Shows ‘Loud Boom, Flash Of Light’ Over Grays Harbor County

No weather event, no airplane crashes, no earthquakes. So what caused the dramatic scene in the sky over Grays Harbor County?

By Neal McNamara , Patch Staff |  | Updated

MONTESANO, WA – Was it a UFO, a ballistic missile exploding, or an airplane crash? Whatever happened in the sky over Grays Harbor County Wednesday night, it was seen and felt by thousands along the Pacific Coast.

Wednesday night, the Grays Harbor Emergency Management announced on Facebook that it had received reports of “ground shaking, loud boom and flash of light in the sky.” The department contacted the National Weather Service and the Federal Aviation Administration – but those agencies could not immediately explain what had happened.

The National Weather Service has offered a theory: it might have been a bolide. That’s a meteor that explodes inside the Earth’s atmosphere. A bolide typically comes with a sonic boom, which may explain why people in Grays Harbor County felt the ground shake.

NYPD reportedly ready to arrest Harvey Weinstein

New York City’s top detective said Wednesday police have gathered considerable evidence in the rape investigation of Harvey Weinstein but it’s up to the district attorney to decide whether the disgraced media mogul gets indicted.

“It’s his case right now,” Chief Robert Boyce said of Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance, Jr. “I would ask you to ask him … his schedule … where it goes forward.”

The district attorney’s office had no comment.

Boyce said investigators have been working diligently with women who made alleged Weinstein raped them. The probe stems from a report in October by “Boardwalk Empire” actress Paz de la Huerta, who said she Weinstein raped her twice in 2010. She also spoke publicly.

Detectives have since traveled to Paris and Los Angeles to interview de la Huerta and others. They have sought cellphone, business and medical records. Witnesses were prepared to testify before a grand jury, which would determine whether Weinstein is indicted, Boyce said. The proceeding is secret.

“We’ve accumulated quite a bit of evidence,” Boyce said.

Documents show FBI paid Geek Squad staff as informants

Given the huge increase in pedophile arrests since Trump took office, I would say this little “scheme” didn’t work all that well and was likely done to spy on people as priority #1.

BY LUIS SANCHEZ –

The FBI paid Best Buy Geek Squad employees to act as informants, according to documentsobtained by the nonprofit Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF).

The documents show that the FBI and Best Buy have had a relationship that goes back at least 10 years.

The FBI and Geek Squad appear to have had a process for how the bureau would investigate and prosecute people who had given their devices to Geek Squad to be repaired.

Geek Squad would let the FBI know if they found what they believed to be child pornography on a device and the FBI would go to the Geek Squad facility to assess the materials and determine if they were illegal, the documents reportedly show.

The FBI would then take the device for further investigation.

I confess. I was an #IBOR resister. It didn’t make sense to me since free speech is already guaranteed in our constitution.

But, thinking logically, the one thing that would scare the data-mining cabal the most is an articulated right to privacy when using the internet.

No more data mining for ads. No more algorithms screwing up how we communicate with others on Facebook. No more capturing my favorite soda to sell to a competitor who might want to make me buy something else.

Also, and really important to me, is the right to be forgotten. It’s already been adjudicated in Britain. Here’s a bit of the detail:

https://www.theguardian. com/technology/2013/apr/04/britain-opt-out-right-to-be-forgotten-law

We should have a right to disappear.

So if this continues to be a thing, think of it way beyond being censored for free speech. Think of it in terms of privacy, too. No more selling personal information. No more dedicated IPs to track your every move. No more email apps that pre-select your possible replies, because no more email being mined.

Mail could be configured with the same privacy rights as US mail, for example.

Last I’ll post on this one. But if it goes forward, please consider expanding the scope.

Also keep in mind that there’s more than the WH petition site to make your ideas known. Most of us have senators and congressmen to represent us in Washington, D.C. Maybe talk to a real person?

Kobe Steel admits data fraud went on nearly five decades, CEO to quit

Q had this to say about this situation:  “These people are stupid.  Wait for Russia/China reports.  Sabotage.  Investigation.  Strike 99999999.”

Perhaps one of the “booms” as well?

This is going to have huge ramifications globally.  Inferior product?  I’ll say this ~ Trump has taken incredible notes over the decades and knows how to draw out the traitor’s.

*****

(Reuters) – Kobe Steel Ltd admitted on Tuesday its data fraud has been going on nearly five decades and also revealed new cases of cheating, highlighting the challenges facing the 112-year-old company mired in compliance failures and malfeasance.

Japan’s third-biggest steelmaker said its CEO will step down to take responsibility for the widespread data fraud scandal that came to light last year, although doubts remain over its corporate culture and the possibility of future fines.

Kobe Steel, which supplies steel parts to manufacturers of cars, planes and trains around the world, admitted last year to supplying products with falsified specifications to about 500 customers, throwing global supply chains into turmoil.

The company, in announcing the results from a four-month-long investigation by an external committee, said it had also found new cases of impropriety, widening the total of affected clients to 605, including 222 customers overseas.

“I feel heavy responsibility as our data falsification has caused trouble to so many customers,” the resigning CEO and chairman, Hiroya Kawasaki, told a news conference.

“I’ve offered my resignation … as I think preventive measures should be done under a new management,” he said.
