Is Trump right about judges’ leanings? Maybe, review shows

Editor’s note:  About 10 years ago I was told by a former legislature (Democrat) that the corruption permeates the entire system – political, education, police, courts – from the federal level all the way down to the local level.  Drain all that filth!

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — President Donald Trump has called courts unfair and political and repeatedly assailed the 9th Circuit, the U.S. court system’s westernmost division, where some of his key immigration policies have stalled.

Other observers describe America’s judges as conservative or liberal, implying they bring an ideology to their decision-making that goes beyond a careful assessment of law and precedent. That view has made the U.S. Senate’s confirmation of federal judges fraught, with each party battling to block nominees they view as unsympathetic to their positions.

But is there any evidence politics plays a role in judicial opinions? An Associated Press review suggests it might.

The AP looked at opinions by nearly 40 federal district court and appellate judges about Trump’s ban on travelers from mostly Muslim countries. It found only one judge nominated by a Democratic president has supported Trump’s authority to keep out all travelers or deport those who arrived just as the first ban took effect. With some exceptions, Republican nominees have taken a broader view of presidential power and rejected limits on the executive orders.

CIA Whistleblower: Trump Is Doing What Kennedy Tried To

Profile picture for user Tyler Durden

Via Greg Hunters’ USA Watchdog blog,

Former CIA Officer and whistleblower Kevin Shipp says what is going on with Donald J. Trump “is an ongoing coup to remove a duly elected President.” Shipp contends, “This is a huge constitutional crisis like the country has never seen before. This makes Watergate look like a Sunday school class.”

On Friday, Shipp and other retired top officials at the CIA, FBI, DOJ and NSA held a press conference and demanded Attorney General Jeff Sessions prosecute top Obama era officials for obvious crimes against the incoming Trump Administration. Shipp says,

We have a coup within our government right now at the senior levels at the CIA, DOJ and the FBI attempting to unseat a duly elected President who was elected by the American people and remove him from office…

This is, at worst, treason with senior officials in the shadow government or Deep State . . . to attack Donald Trump and remove him from office. . . . We have not seen anything like this since the Presidency of John F. Kennedy (JFK), when CIA Director Allen Dulles attacked him, and we saw what happened there…

There is crystal clear evidence that the CIA was, at least, involved with the cover-up of the JFK assassination.  Now, we have the same thing happening again…

Remember what Chuck Schumer said, and it was chilling.  He said, ‘If you cross the intelligence community, they can hit back at you six ways from Sunday.’  That’s what we are seeing now.  It’s collusion or a coup with senior officials at the FBI, DOJ and CIA along with Robert Mueller to unseat an elected president.”

President Donald J. Trump Proclaims May 1, 2018, as Law Day, U.S.A.

editor’s note:  i am sharing this as one of those “allegedly” intel drops.  i was told that (allegedly) the reason for Q’s drop on “MOAB” was in reference to the ancient Moab tribe from Jordan and that Obama was hiding there and has been captured.  if true how appropriate for DJT to proclaim tomorrow, May Day, (Happy May Day) as “Law Day”…  Obviously not the first president to honor this day as such, however there is something to be said for this:  “On this 60th annual observance of Law Day, let us rededicate ourselves to the rule of law as the best means to secure, as the Preamble to our Constitution so wisely states, “the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.”’

***

On Law Day, we celebrate our Nation’s heritage of liberty, justice, and equality under the law.  This heritage is embodied most powerfully in our Constitution, the longest surviving document of its kind.  The Constitution established a unique structure of government that has ensured to our country the blessings of liberty through law for nearly 229 years.

The Framers of our Constitution created a government with distinct and independent branches — the Legislative, the Executive, and the Judicial — because they recognized the risks of concentrating power in one authority.  As James Madison wrote, “the accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands . . . may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny.”  By separating the powers of government into three co-equal branches and giving each branch certain powers to check the others, the Constitution provides a framework in which the rule of law has flourished.

The importance of the rule of law can be seen throughout our Nation’s history.  This year marks the 150th anniversary of the ratification of the Fourteenth Amendment to our Constitution.  The Fourteenth Amendment prohibits States from denying persons the equal protection of the laws or depriving them of life, liberty, or property without due process of law.  The commitment to the rule of law that led the country to ratify that Amendment was no less powerful than the commitment to the rule of law that led the country to ratify the original Constitution.

That commitment to the rule of law lives on today.  It drives the debates we see around the country about the growth of the administrative state and regulatory authority, and about the unfortunate trend of district court rulings that exceed traditional limits on the judicial power.  We also see that commitment in the people’s demand that their representatives comply with the Constitution, and in the Representatives and Senators themselves who take seriously their oaths to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.

President Dwight D. Eisenhower first commemorated Law Day in 1958 to celebrate our Nation’s roots in the principles of liberty and guaranteed fundamental rights of individual citizens under the law.  Law Day recognizes that we govern ourselves in accordance with the rule of law rather according to the whims of an elite few or the dictates of collective will.  Through law, we have ensured liberty.  We should not, and do not, take that success for granted.  On this 60th annual observance of Law Day, let us rededicate ourselves to the rule of law as the best means to secure, as the Preamble to our Constitution so wisely states, “the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.”

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, in accordance with Public Law 87–20, as amended, do hereby proclaim May 1, 2018, as Law Day, U.S.A.  I urge all Americans, including government officials, to observe this day by reflecting upon the importance of the rule of law in our Nation and displaying the flag of the United States in support of this national observance; and I especially urge the legal profession, the press, and the radio, television, and media industries to promote and to participate in the observance of this day.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this thirtieth day of April, in the year of our Lord two thousand eighteen, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-second.

HUGE Breaking News!!! President Donald J. Trump Proclaims April 26, 2018, as World Intellectual Property Day LAW & JUSTICE Issued on: April 26, 2018

Editor’s note:  This is SO AMAZING!!!  All of this suppressed technology to free us up will NOW be much more protected to be released without fear of harm and forms of control on the individual(s).  As DJT said on inauguration day:  “We stand at the birth of a new millennium, ready to unlock the s mysteries of space, to free the Earth from the miseries of disease, and to harness the energies, industries and technologies of tomorrow.”  This proclamation lays the foundation for this.  Perfect.  Beautiful.  As DJT says “something special”.

***

On World Intellectual Property Day, we not only celebrate invention and innovation, but also we recognize how integral intellectual property rights are to our Nation’s economic competitiveness.  Intellectual property rights support the arts, sciences, and technology.  They also create the framework for a competitive market that leads to higher wages and more jobs for everyone.  The United States is committed to protecting the intellectual property rights of our companies and ensuring a level playing field in the world economy for our Nation’s creators, inventors, and entrepreneurs.

Our country will no longer turn a blind eye to the theft of American jobs, wealth, and intellectual property through the unfair and unscrupulous economic practices of some foreign actors.  These practices are harmful not only to our Nation’s businesses and workers but to our national security as well.  Intellectual property theft is estimated to cost our economy as much as $600 billion a year.  To protect our economic and national security, I have directed Federal agencies to aggressively respond to the theft of American intellectual property.  In combatting this intellectual property theft, and in enforcing fair and reciprocal trade policy, we will protect American jobs and promote global innovation.

While we continue to demand the protection of intellectual property rights abroad, my Administration will also take steps to strengthen our patent system here at home.  A system that increases the reliability and enforceability of patents will encourage even more investment in creative and innovative industries, leading to job and wealth creation for all Americans.  When the United States advances pro-growth policies of this form, we set an example of protecting economic competitiveness, promoting new engines of growth, and prioritizing the expansion of innovative and creative capacities overall.

This year’s World Intellectual Property Day is dedicated to celebrating all of the industrious and brilliant women who have changed, and who continue change, the world with their inventions, innovations, and other creative contributions to society.  Our Nation’s economic strength and prosperity would not be so without the over 75 million women in our country’s workforce, whose ingenuity, initiative, and hard work have helped foster the growth and progress of America’s economy since our formation.  Over the past decade, the number of women-owned firms has grown five times faster than the national average for all firms.  American women are assuming leading roles in health, business and finance, the arts, and the STEM fields.  We must protect the intellectual property rights of these women creators, inventors, and entrepreneurs in order to promote further innovation for years to come.

A new era of American exceptionalism is dawning, in the form of sustained intellectual property rights and continued American entrepreneurship.  The drive for excellence, advancement, and innovation in the United States has brought forth significant discoveries, developed life-saving research, and improved the quality of life for millions of Americans.  On this World Intellectual Property Day, we celebrate the creative spirit and contributions of American men and women, and we acknowledge the necessity of maintaining intellectual property rights for all those enterprising individuals who dare to invent or create something new for the betterment of all people.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim April 26, 2018, as World Intellectual Property Day.  I encourage Americans to observe this day with events and educational programs that celebrate the benefits of intellectual property to our economy and our country.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-sixth day of April, in the year of our Lord two thousand eighteen, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-second.

White House Intel: John McCain Expected to Retire from U.S. Senate

Image result for church lady well isn't that special meme

White House officials are saying the administration expects John McCain to step down from the U.S. Senate in ‘the coming weeks.”

“A replacement is being negotiated now,” a White House insider said.

True Pundit reported on March 8 that McCain would be stepping down from the U.S. Senate, an exclusive that sent his wife Cindy over the edge. She claimed McCain was healthy, recovering from his cancer treatments and would return to the Beltway.

She referred to True Pundit as “crackpots.”

That was nearly two months ago and still, no sign of McCain in Washington, D.C.

He has not been to work since Dec. 17, 2017.

Friday Night Q ~ 4/27/18

editor’s note:  appreciate the anon’s questioning of “where are the arrests?” while saying we DO research and learn and share … as well as the reality that the only people really reading these boards are the truthseekers while the masses continue their programming watching cnn et al. team Q does a pretty good job responding…focus on the fbi.  step back – see what has happened outside of the arrests agenda.  much, right?  of course we know arrests will not come w/the past and recent alphabet mess.  good housecleaning techniques make that possible.
