New Cannabis-Infused Pain Patches For Fibromyalgia Patients

takebackamerica Come election time, when politicians are desperate to look like decent folks to their constituents, they chant the “god bless the united states of america” mantra. I don’t know what is more annoying to me – the fact that these dolts chant it or the fact that so many of the masses fall for it.

There is far too much hypocrisy in that statement for my tastes – and has been for almost 20 years. I remember when I first tasted that bitterness…

It was the week following September 11, 2001. Visiting some relatives in another city, I noticed the slogan “God Bless America” boldly painted in red, white and blue on their front window, a contribution by my sister-in-law, notoriously known for her strong Christian belief system. It bothered me. A lot. While that event marked part two of my awakening, the slogan itself, which normally I would embrace patriotically and proudly, suddenly turned my stomach. But why?

Study Confirms: The Words We Speak Can Literally Alter Our Brain

Recent studies report fascinating results: The words you choose to use can literally change your brain.

Dr. Andrew Newberg, a neuroscientist at Thomas Jefferson University, and Mark Robert Waldman, a communications expert, collaborated on the book, “Words Can Change Your Brain.” In it, they write, “a single word has the power to influence the expression of genes that regulate physical and emotional stress.”

When we use words filled with positivity, like “love” and “peace”, we can alter how our brain functions by increasing cognitive reasoning and strengthening areas in our frontal lobes. Using positive words more often than negative ones can kick-start the motivational centers of the brain, propelling them into action.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, when we use negative words, we are preventing certain neuro-chemicals from being produced which contribute to stress management. Each and every one of us are initially hardwired to worry; it’s how our primal brain protects us from dangerous situations for survival.

So, when we allow negative words and concepts into our thoughts, we are increasing the activity in our brain’s fear center (the amygdala), and causing stress-producing hormones to flood our system. These hormones and neurotransmitters interrupt the logic and reasoning processes in the brain and inhibit normal functionality. Newberg and Waldman write, “Angry words send alarm messages through the brain, and they partially shut down the logic-and-reasoning centers located in the frontal lobes.”

Native Woman Cooking For Thousands Of People Fighting Against Dakota Access

Nantinki Young has fed almost 3000 people a day to support the protest against the Dakota pipeline that would destroy many Native American lands.

Since March, thousands of Native Americans, environmental activists and their allies — including some UC Berkeley students — have gathered at the Standing Rock reservation in North Dakota to oppose the ongoing construction of the pipeline, which is intended to carry hundreds of thousands of barrels of crude oil from North Dakota to Illinois each day.

8-Year-Old Girl Receives Gifts From Crows She Has Been Feeding For 4 Years.

Many people leave out birdseed for feathered-friends in the neighborhood, although few get anything in return besides a lovely view of the birds, and a patio polluted with seeds. Eight-year-old Gabi Mann from Seattle, Washington started feeding the crows in her family’s garden, and now this lucky little girl gets gifts from the crows.

Gabie keeps her gifts in specially labeled bags tucked safely inside a bead storage box. After all, these are her most treasured possessions. Her labels are detailed, for instance one containing a broken light bulb reads: “Black table by feeder. 2:30 p.m. 09 Nov 2014.”

Gabie has received all kinds of gifts from the crows, including Lego pieces, beads, buttons, paper clips and pieces of foam. Her favorite gift of all is a pearl colored heart, she said, “It’s showing me how much they love me.”

Energy Update – Leaving The Human Behind

The energies of the 11/11 gateway are already upon us and it is as if we are being squeezed though the eye of the needle. All that is not truly our soul is being shown so that we can make the conscious choice to leave it behind. In conversation with my team they explained that the human is being released. When I pressed them on what that means they went on to say that what is considered human is our duality, lack, limitations, and fear. What is not considered part of the human is our personality, our likes and dislikes. Who we truly are is not going anywhere, what is leaving is all that we are not.

However, even with this explanation many are experiencing fear associated with letting the human go. Right now many are feeling extremely anxious and depressed, as the resurgence of lack, limitation, doubts, and duality programming is looping throughout your form. It is so we become so uncomfortable with these feelings that the anguish of hanging on is greater than our fear of letting go.

Another component to the leaving the human behind is having to understand deeply that we are worthy of the life that we desire. We are worthy to have the relationships, career, happiness and joy that we so desperately want. We can have life filled with the beautiful flow of the universe and a peaceful existence. As you read these words, what emotions arise? Do you feel the truth to these words through your being or is there a fear underneath begging to be heard? Do you feel selfish for wanting it all? Do you fear that when good things happen, the bottom will soon drop out? Do we dare to believe with all of hearts that we are worthy? Look at all the insecurities these energies have brought up in the recent weeks. They are showing us where we hold a lack or not good enough vibration within us. Once we see it we can shift it.
