All resistance to our receiving has disappeared – and another by-product of our asking has come to the surface: the people who help us are presented with opportunities that they need to further their own growth processes. Indeed, there are many in our world who benefit greatly from being asked for help, because it allows them to practice giving and enjoy all the rewards that their giving brings to them.

Such is the way of the new world. The Love which is born out of the cycle of asking and giving is known to all, accepted by all, and practiced by all. As a result, our selfishness and turned to selflessness, and our feeling of being alone has turned to a feeling of being at One.

The Department of Justice has made its formal request to the United Kingdom to extradite WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

The U.S. made this official extradition request to the U.K. last Thursday, June 6, according to “a U.S. official who spoke on background to discuss a sensitive matter” as initially reported by the Washington Post.

A Justice Department spokesperson confirmed the request the Washington Examiner.

United States prosecutors are encouraging anyone complicit in, or have information about billionaire and alleged child molester Jeffery Epstein’s conduct to come forward. The Department of Justice’s call targeted politicians, celebrities, socialites and anyone who may have witnessed or know of questionable behavior.

Mr. Epstein kept a notorious black book and private jet manifests that contained a long list of names who he either met or partied with. The list also contained names of alleged victims. Now, armed with warrants to search Mr. Epstein’s properties, the U.S. prosecutors sought to send a clear message: Provide information to us before we contact you.

“You would much rather be visiting the Department of Justice and engaging a conversation about what you saw rather than making the DOJ find you,” said Jacob Frenkel, a former federal prosecutor now at Dickinson-Wright, according to the Japan Times. “There’s a much greater potential for influencing the parameters of an interview and the scope of cooperation by going in voluntarily than becoming a compulsory guest” of the government, he said.

A JetBlue flight from Newark Airport in New Jersey to Tampa, Florida, was evacuated on the tarmac Saturday morning as authorities investigated a suspicious item reported prior to takeoff, a Port Authority spokesman said.

Approximately 150 passengers aboard JetBlue flight 573 were removed from the airplane and taken by bus back to the terminal following a report of a “suspicious looking package on the airplane,” said Rudy King, a Port Authority spokesman.

The plane, which was expected to take off at about 7:45 a.m., was surrounded by police vehicles at about 8 a.m. All the passengers’ luggage was removed from the aircraft and re-screened by security, King said.

Federal immigration authorities attempted raids in at least two neighborhoods in New York City on Saturday, according to a person familiar with the matter, a day prior to when President Trump had said Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents would begin national roundups of people illegally in the U.S.

In New York City, ICE agents went to residences in the Harlem section of Manhattan and Brooklyn’s Sunset Park neighborhood, the person said. The agents were rejected by people at the residences because they didn’t have warrants, but plan to return at least to Sunset Park tomorrow, according to the person.

A spokeswoman for ICE in New York said that the agency won’t offer specific details related to enforcement operations. “As always, ICE prioritizes the arrest and removal of unlawfully present aliens who pose a threat to national security, public safety and border security,” the spokeswoman said.
