I read something – equally as powerful – earlier today – about triggers. There are some pretty tough-sounding words floating around in recent years about how we need to control our triggers. What if our triggers are trying to protect us. What if these triggers are memories held in the body and rather than focusing on controlling them, we instead tune in to the body and allow it to feel safe having a different response. Not through force but through PRESENCE. Loving presence. Brilliant. 🙏💖
Weirdness continues. The weather feels like late March – unusual even for this time of year. I just saw someone who I follow on twitter – his young adult son took his life today. 😭
