This woman – this soul – has been so violated and experienced too much trauma – she is in full disassociation – nervous system shut down. This is heartbreaking. I have learned enough about trauma to know she is going to need to feel safe – just safe enough – to accept help – but it has to be REAL help that will work with her body to begin TO feel safe again.
