As TGP’s Kristinn Taylor reported, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) announced late Friday night via Twitter that he has caved on his 10 p.m. EDT deadline for Christine Ford to decide on testifying before the committee about her uncorroborated charges accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting decades ago at a drunken high school pool party.
Grassley also said he felt he was “playing 2nd trombone in the judiciary orchestra and Schumer is the conductor”
Friday night’s extension was the fifth one given to Christine Ford.
The counteroffer given by the Senate Republicans to hold the hearing next Wednesday still stands–Ford must respond to the Judiciary Committee with her prepared testimony and biography Saturday at 2:30 PM.

The Senate Judiciary Committee has given Ford’s attorneys a deadline of 2:30 p.m. ET Saturday to respond with their decision, a committee source confirmed to CNN.The panel has proposed holding a hearing next Wednesday in which it would hear testimony from both Kavanaugh and Ford, according to a source with knowledge of the matter.
Accuser Christine Blasey Ford believes she runs the U.S. Senate as she continues to make outrageous demands of how and when her hearing will be held.
Grassley said Friday that if Christine Ford does not agree to terms by the deadline given, the Senate will hold the vote Monday.
Sources are saying this is Grassley’s FINAL deadline!

Trump To Investigate Google, Facebook Under New Executive Order: Bloomberg

According to a an early draft of an Executive Order (EO), the White House will instruct federal law enforcement and antitrust agencies to launch investigations into the business practices of Facebook, Google and other social media companies, according to Bloomberg which says it has seen the draft.
While not specifically calling out companies by name, the document orders US antitrust officials to “thoroughly investigate whether any online platform has acted in violation of the antitrust laws,” while instructing other agencies to return recommendations within a month of Trump signing the EO which could potentially “protect competition among online platforms and address online platform bias.”
The document doesn’t name any specific companies. If signed, the order would represent a significant escalation of Trump’s antipathy toward Google, Facebook, Twitter and other social media companies, whom he has publicly accused of silencing conservative voices and news sources online.

The draft order directs that any actions federal agencies take should be “consistent with other laws” — an apparent nod to concerns that it could threaten the traditional independence of U.S. law enforcement or conflict with the First Amendment, which protects political views from government regulation. –Bloomberg

editor’s note: so my mate pulls up this one. i’m listening, folding laundry and my brain is thinking “ok yeah gaia portal blah blah”….as BZ is reciting the one from the 15th and is saying “Mentoring of the Planetary Ascenders begins in earnest” – as she says this i could feel this gentle but solid pull from Big Me coming in and i have this flash of a vision and full on body/mind experience where i KNEW i was receiving this mentoring – kinda in an “out of this realm” manner – usually when i am sleeping. a very nice humbling moment for me.
i appreciate the discussion of the term “harvest” because yes – i had an immediate issue with it – not based on worth necessarily (if i do, it is an ancient fear i am not yet aware of) – but fear indeed – harvesting US for food…..which is why i said “ok guys and gals – you could’ve used a different term.” and yet given we are at the equinox – and in the western hemisphere the season of the harvesting….deeper though this is a spiritually-oriented experience…AND as BZ says – w/the energies that came in all summer – the harvest could also mean we are starting to see the “rewards” of these integrations…
