Attorney General Ken Paxton announced today that his office’s prosecution of Backpage.com has resulted in the company pleading guilty to human trafficking in Texas and its CEO Carl Ferrer pleading guilty to money laundering. This comes less than a week after the attorney general’s office assisted the Department of Justice with permanently shutting down the website.
Ferrer will be sentenced to up to five years in prison once he’s fulfilled the terms of his plea agreement with Attorney General Paxton’s office. His cooperation in the ongoing investigation into Backpage could lead to other criminal charges against individuals associated with the company.
As the largest online sex trafficking marketplace in the world, Backpage facilitated the sex trafficking of innocent women and children through sites it ran for 943 locations in 97 countries and 17 languages. It was involved in 73 percent of all child trafficking cases reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
“Taking down Backpage and obtaining a criminal conviction for the company and its CEO represents a significant victory in the fight against human trafficking in Texas and around the world,” Attorney General Paxton said. “

I have been meaning to ask this of all of you~ have any of you had the feeling that as we get closer to this energy event, you will be sleeping more? It was last year sometime where I saw myself spending great deals of time in bed. If I had the ability to do so, the luxury that is, I would have been in bed all day today.
Any of you having a lot of bloating right now and weight gain (around the middle esp.)? My mate and I are both asking “wth is happening to our bodies?” We are by nature long and lean. I had a disturbing experience in the parking lot at the store. Some man was staring at myself and my daughter ~ mostly my daughter. I kept her close and stared right back at him, saying “WHAT?!”. He said nothing ~ turned away from me only to turn back moments later. He continued to watch us as we got into the car and I continued to look back at him when I could (which when I did he would look away). I drove home a different way just in case and when I arrived, I remembered the store had a video camera in the parking lot so I phoned the store, shared what happened. I received a call back later in the day and was informed they saw what happened and know the guy ~ a long time customer who has had the same complaints before. Harmless (likely) but still – dude – stop with this invasive behavior. So management is going to speak with him and make it clear he needs to stop if he wants to continue shopping there as there have been several complaints against him.
Yes, harmless most likely but damn if it didn’t reinforce my strong desire to be out of this realm so I never. have. to encounter. anything. like. this. again. A decent human being does not stare at another human being in that manner ~ especially when one of them is a SMALL CHILD.
Don’t get me started on staring at my daughter and what that did to me. And to her. We are still talking about it.
My mate later went downtown to get some supplies ~ returned and said we were “done” going into the city (downtown) for anything. He said there were groups of sketched out people all over, many smoking their vape pens (which contains who knows what – you can put anything into them). Homeless vans and campers line some of the streets. This city is a recognized sanctuary city – and might I add for ANYONE. Not exaggerating. The homeless come here because of the policies of others cities. Word got around anyone can come here regardless of behavior, crime record, etc. and the city does nothing about the issue other than letting them live anywhere they want for the most part. The panhandling is scattered throughout the area.
I have a deep desire to see open borders and the freedom of people to live as they please but the problem is many if not people don’t understand freedom. People come here, live in the streets, many of them on meth and thus are unstable. They leave their garbage all over the place. They steal from businesses (a friend was assaulted at the place he works by one of them). They harass passersby (had that experience ~ it was frightening) and in short, take away the right of ALL to live peacefully. I am overly done with coddling this crap. What about my right to freedom? To safety? To take my child out and about without worrying some whacked out freak (or sexual predator – we have enough of those in this area) disturbing us? Speak like that and the locals cry “discrimination” or “you are being politically incorrect.”
As my neighbor said “the city is great with coming up with plans but totally fails in implementing any of them”. In the meantime, we no longer visit the library because of the crime and the drug dealing that goes on in the park across the street. And what a paradox it is that the frigging police station is 2 blocks away. I have inquired – why not place a full time officer in the park to police the place? Put an end to this sheot. Parents have complained about this problem as well as the needles found.
I want out.
O U T.
I want my tribe.
I want my small community.
If it isn’t new earth, then I command to be shown where this next place is and to open the doors to enter for I will no longer allow one more experience into the life of this family that violates our basic right to safety.
The energies are reinforcing the insanity in some. For me it is bringing up the HUGE sense of outrage I have felt over boundary violations going back to young childhood as well as my HUGE desire to live FULLY FREELY. Safely. Securely. So more purging today is going on, which a part of me says “use it to release and heal” but a newer part of me says “I have already seen this issue for what it is. If the system bots would STOP WITH THEIR violating behaviors, I would not have to DEAL with the issue.”

Timothy Donald Brown I’ve studied more about vaccines and the very certain and positive decision to say never to any vaccine over the last five months than I ever learned in nursing school.
At the time I was studying I watched kids that I injected get hurt, and never will they be the same again, but the doctor told me, “don’t worry these reactions are normal and the neuro damage wasn’t caused by the vaccine. They are perfectly safe and harmless”.
That haunted me so much that ultimately my desire to earn good money was my only true drive to stay in the medical field. Having the feeling that I broke my hippocratic oath just pushed me over the edge and I left the medical field entirely.
To this day I maintain my CNA license and field med technician skills but have no direct involvement in medicine.
I was on the fence about the vaccines even after witnessing the things I did. Then recently I was in contact with the doctor who gave me my last vaccine ever, the MMR which I received at the age of 17. Within hours I was in the ER from a severe reaction. The issues seemed to initially clear up but I was in and out of the hospital for two weeks before I dealt with things naturally at home and finally got rid of the breakout all over my body.
Armed with the truth I know now, and contact from the doctor who administered the MMR telling me that I was noted as vaccine injured on VAERS for the reaction I had has lead me to take a very firm stance against all vaccines and injections pushed on the market today.
I have had several vaccines when I was a small child in Europe and a couple here in the US. At this point in my life I am fairly healthy and do alright but I have the strangest skin allergies and react to the most obscure things in certain foods or medicines. This is just too much, and I know the dangers, so from here on out vaccines and injections are a no go. There is no safe vaccine on the market today and the pseudoscience that is used to push them is unfounded and most certainly unproven.
I have been slowly discussing things here and there with my fiancee and she knows that they won’t happen in our household. We watched the first episode together but she wasn’t wholly convinced. Her worry is other family members freaking out that we won’t be vaccinating and thinking that we are nuts. Which I can understand, but with the truth I know now, I will gladly address anyone with the multitude of facts and proven science that going vaccine free is the wise choice for our family.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Zombies have been seen sauntering through a northeastern Ohio town and across the Cook County area of Illinois. “Zombie” raccoons, that is.
Youngstown residents are speaking out about them after police received more than a dozen calls in the past few weeks regarding their strange behavior.
One resident tells WKBN he was outside with his dogs last week when one such “zombie” followed him to his door. The raccoon “would stand up on his hind legs,” show its teeth, then “fall over backward and go into almost a comatose condition,” the man says.
“He’d come out of it, walk around, and then he’d do the same thing again.” Though rabies can cause similar, uncharacteristic behavior, experts suspect the raccoons are suffering from distemper, a viral disease that affects canines and other animals such as foxes and skunks, per Live Science.
Ohio’s Department of Natural Resources has been euthanizing raccoons believed to be infected with the disease, which causes convulsions and paralysis, erases a raccoon’s fear of humans, and often sees the nocturnal animals venture out in daylight.

Washington (CNN)California teens are prepared to rock the vote when they turn 18.
A whopping 100,000 16- and 17-year-olds have preregistered to vote in the Golden State since a law enacted in 2016 gave young people the opportunity to sign up to vote before they are eligible, California Secretary of State Alex Padilla said last week.
“The numbers keep going up,” Padilla told CNN. “These kids know that to change the political environment and policy, they need to register to vote, and they need to vote.”
Padilla’s announcement was tied to the launch of HighSchool.sos.ca.gov, a new portal on the secretary of state’s website connecting youth with civic engagement opportunities. Later this month, Padilla said, he will kick off California High School Voter Education Weeks, where he will hold rallies and speak to thousands of students about the importance of voter registration and preregistration.
“A couple of years ago, it took a lot of work to convince young people why it’s important to register to vote and to vote,” Padilla said. “It’s not that hard of a case to make anymore.”

India’s top court has ruled that sex with a child is always rape, quashing a clause that allowed men to have sex with underage girls if they were married to them.
The Supreme Court’s landmark decision on Wednesday closed a legal loophole that has historically allowed perpetrators of rape to escape punishment.
While the age of consent in India is 18, there was a clause in India’s rape laws that lowered the age of consent to 15 if the girl was married.
But the court has now ruled that the clause is “discriminatory, capricious, and arbitrary”, and “violates the bodily integrity of the girl child”.
