Healed People Don’t Ghost. They Have A Conversation You’re Not Ready For.

Let that sit for a second.

Because ghosting gets excused a lot.

They weren’t ready.
They didn’t know how to communicate.
It was easier for them to just disappear.

And while that may be true…

Let’s talk about what it actually is.

Ghosting is conflict avoidance dressed up as an exit strategy.

It’s choosing your own comfort over someone else’s dignity.

It’s deciding that the discomfort of an honest conversation is worth more than the closure another person deserves.

That’s not a communication style.

That’s emotional immaturity with good wifi.

Because here’s what a healed person does when something isn’t working..

They show up.

Not perfectly.
Not with all the right words.
Not without discomfort.

But they show up.

They say “this isn’t working for me” instead of disappearing into thin air.

They say “I can’t give you what you need” instead of leaving someone to spend weeks wondering what they did wrong.

They understand that how you leave someone
says everything about how much you’ve done the work.

And ghosting?

Ghosting says you haven’t.

Now here’s the part that cuts both ways….

If you’ve been ghosted.. their silence was never a reflection of your worth. It was a reflection of their capacity.

You deserved the conversation.
You deserved the honesty.
You deserved to be treated like someone whose feelings were worth five uncomfortable minutes.

And if you’ve been the one who ghosted..

This isn’t about shame.

It’s an invitation.

To ask yourself why the disappearing act felt easier
than the truth. To get curious about what about conflict feels so unsafe that silence became the answer.

Because the moment honest conversations stop feeling like threats..

Everything about the way you love changes.

Healed people are not perfect people.

They’re just people who chose the harder
and more honoring path.

Even when it was uncomfortable.

3.22.26 ~ Today’s Finds Sky Events War Drums Saving Israel for Last

We need more of this. Unless you’re toxic cruel and evil. Then you are not enough as you are.

I told my kiddo today that she will have to find a way to forgive me for being cranky these days. Matrix hit me pretty f’ing hard here, and it’s all showing up in mom’s tired body, mind, heart, and Soul. I am simply kaput now.

I am wired to connect with people – I came here as a bright light who was very outgoing, friendly, giggly/silly, and trusting. And this shit pit made sure to do all it could to crush that right out of the gate. From jab damage to molestation to having to endure rages, neglect, to being bullied all throughout school/high school and college, poverty, sexual assault led to anxiety, panic attacks, and phobias – I kinda just want to go home or someplace where I can rest and heal and be loved in the way I always wanted and needed but did not receive. For now, I’m sucking down my CBD tinctures for some relative calm.
