I have been more focused on exploring GW employment, along with a stack of ideas to explore income-generating, writing-related jobs in the corporate world. Donations were down to just 2 this month here. 😢 I get it – but also quite disheartening for me as well given how much I put into this work and how much I truly believe it is serving a purpose. So, moving on, but also providing information I find relevant here, including a little something I put together this morning.

UPDATE: Since X removed my post with my decoding, then it was there, then it was gone, here is a screen capture:
Apparently I saved it on my phone. NO CLUE how that happened. Tell me we’re inside a simulated game with inside and outside things going on, with attacks and help (because when I called out for help after seeing the shot below – BAM – suddenly it shows up on my phone).

WE are the Super Intelligence.

A lifetime of dealing with feeling unsafe.
Having to watch my surroundings.
Being groped.
Followed.
Unwanted approaches.
Even sexual assault.
My daughter is at a vulnerable age.
Mid teens.
She is getting unwanted attention – not just from other male peers but from grown fucking men.
As a mom I can only do so much.
Watch your surroundings.
Carry your phone.
Pepper spray.
Use your voice.
Walk like you own the road.
Blah blah blah
Year after year.
Decade after f’ing decade.
We women, carry this f’ing burden.
And guess what, men?
WE ARE DONE.
This is a MALE problem.
Not a FEMALE problem.
A MALE problem.
And it is up to men – the GOOD men – TO DO SOMETHING about it.
Every one of you reading this – every good man reading this – you have seen men engaged in boundary violating behavior.
And I guarantee most if not all of you have not said a damn thing.
You just let it go.
It ain’t your problem.
Not your wife.
Not your girlfriend.
Not your sister.
Not your daughter.
But that female for whom you could have helped – stepped in – approached the little punk, young OR old and give him a verbal warning and threat that will make him think TWICE before pulling the same approach – that female is someone’s wife.
Someone’s girlfriend.
Someone’s sister.
Someone’s daughter.
It is not all men.
But it IS MEN.
And guys?
It’s up to you to unite, step up and end this shit for once and for all.
Talk about it.
Say and do something if you see another male, young or old, tell a crude joke. Hassle a female. Or god forbid – even worse.
Patrol the streets if you have to – citizen males patrol – take back our neighborhoods – send the message to potential perverts and perpetrators – that in this neighborhood?
We see something you do?
WE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
Silence is no longer an option.

not all men are bad
I know. I said that. The issue for many of us women is that, until we know otherwise, all men are to be met with a natural hesitation.
