Humans do emit ultra-weak photons.
It’s called ultraweak biophoton emission and it’s a byproduct of normal metabolic chemistry specifically oxidative reactions in cells.
It’s extremely faint
- ~10–100 photons per second per cm²
- billions of times weaker than visible light
- only detectable with highly sensitive photomultiplier tubes in controlled conditions
It’s not “DNA glowing with spiritual light.â€
It’s chemistry.
Reactive oxygen species excite molecules → they relax → a photon is emitted.
That’s it.
Every metabolically active organism does this.
Plants do it.
Bacteria do it.
Your skin does it.
It does not mean
- humans are “light beingsâ€
- consciousness radiates energy fields
- DNA is mystically luminous
It means metabolism produces tiny amounts of photon noise.
Beautiful? Sure.
