i remember once leaving out an entire sub sandwich on the coffee table – telling my dog (who we had at the time) “leave it” as i walked into the bathroom. i was in and out in less than 30 seconds and by the time i returned to the living room my entire sandwich was gone and my sweet little pooch sat there giving me the innocent “i didn’t do it” look. must have been the squirrel….
