The swamp creatures go after each other. So – classic. 🙄 Will something happen? Will we have another investigation by criminals in Congress that go nowhere while our heads spin with words of “trust the plan” and “this must go slow until it doesn’t” while we have people like me who spent 2 hours trying to find ways to cut expenses and do the next months budget and do deep breathing so I don’t lose it. CAN WE PLEASE HAVE SOME F’ING FINANCIAL RELIEF ALREADY? GOD??!!! JESUS??!!! FUTURE US??? YOU HEARING ANYTHING IN HERE??!!

Anyone else? Today I was awoken early by the sound of thunder – which was quite nice once I reassured my body the sky wasn’t falling. It was LOUD – right overhead. So still not a nice way to wake up. That ole “JOLT” then “oh God this reality is still the same I can feel it”. It is not just a trauma response – it’s a soul-level despair that needs a NEW WAY OF LIVING THAT IS SUPPORTOVE and not punitive or challenging. NO BLOCKS. No “you cannot do that because you don’t have the money”. No more $7 eggs or $7 loaves of bread or $5 – $6/lb for FRUIT! O M G JUST NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!

Currently “Stalled” in the Senate:
The NDAA is separate from the defense spending bill and designed to set policy for the coming year while authorizing spending levels for the base budget. For FY27, the Pentagon has requested an unprecedented $1.5 trillion defense budget but that is split with $1.15 trillion in the base budget and an additional $350 billion in a reconciliation pot.
The now House-approved version authorizes the Pentagon to spend $1.15 trillion next year while including “right to repair” provisions and $500 million for a second destroyer.Meanwhile, members of the Senate Armed Services Committee approved their version of the $1.14 trillion FY27 defense policy bill back in June, but Senate Democrats have blocked it from moving to the floor over opposition to the war with Iran and concerns about the defense spending growth.
If and when the Senate approves the policy legislation, the House and Senate then typically hammer out the differences between the two versions before each chamber again votes on a final version.
