I first began following this late last summer. Â The reads at the time were over 6000 which Steve Olson of WSO was wondering if that was normal. Â I did some investigating and learned January is the peak meteor read for Antartica. Â By January, indeed the reading had increased to over 14000. Â It should be declining. Â It doesn’t really seem to be. Â It was just below 11000 a few days ago but today, it is almost 13000. Â (And to avoid confusion, the dates show the day first followed by the month then year. Â Had a little issue w/that with a reader previously w/that one.)
