Robert Lightfoot, the current Acting Administrator of NASA, just announced his retirement today in a surprise statement.
As of now, Lightfoot will be stepping down on April 30, 2018 after having served as the de facto chief of NASA for over a year, when he took over for his predecessor Charles Bolden. It’s worth noting that as the Acting Administrator, Lightfoot was never officially confirmed as the head of the space agency, but since the Senate never confirmed anybody to be Bolden’s replacement, leadership duties fell to Lightfoot.
The current frontrunner for the job has been Trump’s appointee Jim Bridenstine, but there’s still no clear indication that he’ll be confirmed for the position – Senate Democrats and even a few Republicans like Marco Rubio have opposed Bridenstine on the grounds that he has zero qualifications in science or engineering, and he’s dismissive of scientific consensus that humans caused climate change (NASA also studies our home planet’s climate).
It’s entirely possible that somebody else within NASA will be pushed into the “Acting” Administrator role once again, and NASA will continue to have no official leader as the agency faces a shaky future.
After listening to MrMBB333’s video earlier about the interesting signal/images showing up on the GOES 16 satellite yesterday, I decided to pull it up myself moments ago. I caught something at around the 12 minute mark. If you slow it down, you will notice what appears to be red bands in the Southwest, coming from the south and heading in a NE direction. I had it on the Visible (red) option (left column). Select the Visible (blue) option and you will see even more interesting things.

Had an hour or two of some much needed “just me” time to meditate, listen to music, move my body, release. I thought back over the day and instead of feeling the inconvenience of my perceived version of disruptions, I thought about the best part of the day. My heart went right to my girl and I remembered a moment as I stood watching her, holding hands with her little friend, the two of them running freely, wind in their hair, their giggles and squeals for all adult hearts to feel, hear and take in. My own especially.
Today was, well, a people to the nth degree type of day. I did not set out to create that experience. On top of the usual family stuff (where I began to feel I could simply not do a darn thing to please them), I had neighbors visiting unexpectedly (WHY is it some people truly think you are always available simply because you’re home with a child??). Kids coming over. I set off with my ear buds and music machine late in the afternoon for a walk. That turned into more unwelcomed, er, “diversions”.
I can see where I needed to just say “NO” to most if not all of these experiences. I was already very tired and my old program thought of “be kind” over-rode the voice inside of me that was saying JUST LEAVE ME ALONE.
I spent some time going through articles, videos. Same old stuff that feels no different to me right now than it did weeks ago. The experience was palpable today. It feels quite strong that I feel I am simply reading the same stuff, same words, just arranged differently. Yes, I could have shared it all here. I have a bunch of new subscribers (THANK YOU!! [wp-svg-icons icon=”heart-2″ wrap=”i”]) and so I have a responsibility to share a variety of articles and the like each day.
Today? Just not really up to it. I can offer a summary though: Ascension continues (quick note ~ i woke up with anxiety and shaking then had moments of bliss and ear-ringing). Waiting on the Event continues. Gridworkers and Wayshowers and the snowflakes and Trump supporters (who I believe are being called Nazi’s at the moment if I am not mistaken) fulfilling roles and missions and doing their doing’s. Oh and Gaia is flipping the frig out.
Am I into ANY of it?
NOT ONE BIT.
Not today that is.
Today….I just want to BE.
Today there is ONE person I want to spend time with (that would be ME) and I was not able to create that space in the way I intended.
Until now.
So I am off for now ~ not to work here but to BE.
Listen to some music.
Not cook a meal or make a snack or tend to some need or listen to a conversation I’ve heard a million times already or listen to someone speak of their health procedure or how they went to some dinner and were served raw chicken or arrange a playdate or plan a school day or make sure I have enough articles linked on my site or make sure I keep up with all of the happenings and blah blah blah blah blah BLAH.
Today ~ tonight (whatever the frig time it is) all of that ~ I am telling you I AM DONE.
I am going to tend to my needs. Since no one else has asked me how I am or what I need, I am going to take care of my own self/Self. She’s asking me to dance and sing and play. And I am listening.

In a surprise announcement, Republican Rep. Mike Conaway – who has been overseeing the committee’s probe into whether or not Trump and his associates colluded with Russia – said that the committee is closing its probe with the conclusion that there was no collusion, as President Trump has insisted all along:

Conaway made the announcement during an interview with Fox News. Per Fox, the committee will interview no more witnesses and Republicans are in the process of preparing a final report. A draft of that roughly 150-page report will be delivered to committee Democrats for review on Tuesday.
“We have found no evidence of collusion, coordination, or conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russians,” Conway said.
Furthermore, after an investigation that lasted more than a year, the committee came to the conclusion that the intelligence community’s assessment that Russian President Vladimir Putin had a “supposed preference” for then-candidate Trump isn’t accurate.
“The report’s completion will signify the closure of one chapter in the Committee’s robust oversight of the threat posed by Moscow—which began well before the investigation and will continue thereafter,” Conaway said.
