NOCTILUCENT ROCKET FUMES OVER JAPAN: On Jan. 18th, the Japanese space agency JAXA launched a small Epsilon rocket from the Uchinoura Space Center in Japan. It made a big display. Japanese artist and photographer Kagaya captured dramatic images of the rocket’s exhaust glowing in the starry pre-dawn sky over the Pacific.

“I watched the launch from Okinawa Island and photographed it using my Sony α7RIII camera,” says Kagaya.

Japan’s new Epsilon rocket is designed to launch scientific satellites at a fraction of the cost of its larger predecessors. On this occasion, it propelled an Earth observing satellite to orbit, the ASNARO-2. Power by solar cells and carrying a large X-band antenna, ASNARO-2 is a synthetic aperture radar capable of imaging the surface of our planet with 1-meter resolution.

Shortly after the launch, night-shining noctilucent clouds (NLCs) were observed over a wide swath of western Japan as ice crystals forming in the rocket’s exhaust caught the rays of the rising sun high above Earth’s surface. These clouds occur naturally around Earth’s poles, but they are very rare at lower latitudes. In polar regions, NLCs are seeded at the edge of space by specks of meteor dust, which become frosted by naturally occurring water vapor. Exhaust from the Epsilon rocket mixed water vapor with solid-booster aerosols to create similar clouds over Japan.

The government careened toward shutdown Friday night in a chaotic close to Donald Trump’s first year as president, as Democrats and Republicans preemptively traded blame while still struggling to find some accord before a deadline at the stroke of midnight.

The lawmakers and Trump’s White House mounted last-ditch negotiations to stave off what had come to appear as the inevitable, with the parties in stare-down mode over federal spending and proposals to protect some 700,000 younger immigrants from deportation.

After hours of negotiating, the Senate scheduled a late-night vote on a House-passed plan. It appeared likely to fail.

The election-year standoff marked a test of the president’s much vaunted deal-making skills — and of both parties’ political fortitude. Republicans, who control both Congress and the White House, faced the prospect of being blamed for the display of dysfunction — just the fourth shutdown in a quarter-century. It could also threaten to slow any GOP momentum, one month after passage of the party’s signature tax cut law.

Democrats, too, risked being labeled obstructionist. Republicans branded the confrontation a “Schumer shutdown” and argued that Democrats were harming fellow Americans to protect “illegal immigrants.”

In a C-Span interview broadcast on Jan. 15, New York Times reporter Scott Shane, a specialist who reports primarily on the U.S. intelligence community, argued the Fusion GPS was a product of Russian intelligence disinformation designed to mislead the FBI, not a product of Clinton campaign opposition research that served as the basis for the DOJ obtaining FISA court approval to conduct electronic surveillance of Donald Trump, his campaign officials, and top players in the transition team.

QAnon warned in the Jan. 13 post to “be ready” because the mainstream media was coming in a “big way” with a “conspiracy push.”

A thread posted on Twitter by @GalacticRedPill analyzed Shane’s interview with C-Span, commenting:

The premise Shane lays out, as a hypothetical, is that the dossier and the Neo-McCarthyist hysteria it unleashed against 45 is actually the product of a Russian disinformation campaign.

The conclusion @GalacticRedPill draws is that this shift in strategy by Deep State operatives is a communication from the Clinton and Obama camps to President Trump and Attorney General Sessions that they are willing to make a deal.
With House Intelligence Chair Devin Nunes preparing to release proof the FBI and DOJ used the Fusion GPS dossier to trick the FISA court into authorizing electronic surveillance of Donald Trump and his top advisors, the Deep State conspiracy is a plan to deflect Nunes “by claiming the black hats who did break the law to illegally unmask team trump were only doing so because they were tricked.

ZeroHedge.com is also reporting today that former “high-level” CIA officer Kevin Shipp is warning the Deep State is “terrified” of President Trump.
Shipp says:

They are terrified, they are terrified right now. They did not expect Trump to do what he is doing now. The reason they tried to get him even before he was elected is they knew he was uncontrollable, and they knew if he got in there, they would not be able to manipulate him, and that is exactly what’s happening.
There are some people, and there is no doubt about it, that are running scared right now…

Donald Trump is questioning the Deep State and the shadow government. He’s rocking that place left and right. The news media is terrified of that. Their editors are telling them to attack him just like they are attacking him from the inside. It’s just dirty pool because they want him taken out.

Shipp concludes: “Trump’s making tremendous progress despite tremendous resistance. They have already done a character assassination on him, and I think they could go further than that. Trump is making progress, and he has them running scared.”

All hell is breaking loose in Washington D.C. tonight after a four-page memo detailing extensive FISA court abuse was made available to the entire House of Representatives Thursday. The contents of the memo are so explosive, says Journalist Sara Carter, that it could lead to the removal of senior officials in the FBI and the Department of Justice and the end of Robert Mueller’s special counsel investigation.

A source close to the matter tells Fox News that “the memo details the Intelligence Committee’s oversight work for the FBI and Justice, including the controversy over unmasking and FISA surveillance.” An educated guess by anyone who’s been paying attention for the last year leads to the obvious conclusion that the report reveals extensive abuse of power and highly illegal collusion between the Obama administration, the FBI, the DOJ and the Clinton Campaign against Donald Trump and his team during and after the 2016 presidential election.

Lawmakers who have seen the memo are calling for its immediate release, while the phrases “explosive,” “shocking,” “troubling,” and “alarming” have all been used in all sincerity. One congressman even likened the report’s details to KGB activity in Russia. “It is so alarming the American people have to see this,” Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan told Fox News. “It’s troubling. It is shocking,” North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows said. “Part of me wishes that I didn’t read it because I don’t want to believe that those kinds of things could be happening in this country that I call home and love so much.”
