The Show Dogs movie contains a dark theme that can send kids a very very harmful message about who is allowed to touch their private parts and when.
By Jenny RapsonI’m usually very up on the kids movies that are coming out because I love to review movies in this online space for parents, but the past few weeks have been mind-bendingly busy for my family, and I completely missed that a new kids movie called Show Dogs came out this weekend. The premise looks cute, so I’m glad I missed it: at any other time I probably would have seen an online trailer and just taken my seven-year-old with me to see the Show Dogs Movie when I watched it for my review.
After what I’ve learned about it from another parent review, I am SO GLAD my son did not see this movie. Let me explain. Terina Maldonado, parent reviewer for the Macaroni Kid website DID take her kids to see an advanced screening of the movie as part of her job with Macaroni Kid…but she came away with some seriously BAD feelings about the movie. I’ll let Maldonado explain in her own words. …
It all started out fine, she says:
“The premise is great for a kids movie. Max is a talking police dog (voiced by Ludacris) who is paired up with a human partner, Frank (Will Arnett) to infiltrate a prestigious dog show and rescue a kidnapped baby panda. Being a tough dog from New York, Max has no business competing in a dog show but uses his street smarts to outperform the competition to get closer to the inner circle of kidnappers. Along the way, Max learns lessons about trust and the need to accept help from others. The usual hilarity ensues with dog farts, bites on the rear-end, and slap-stick bonks to the head which elicit giggles from the audience. “
It’s when Max the police dog learns what he has to do to truly go undercover and be accepted as a legitimate show dog that the trouble with this movie starts. WHAT does Max (and apparently all the show dogs) have to submit to?
Having his private parts touched and inspected. Yep. Maldonado continues:
“What could have been solely a fun movie for kids that would get my highest recommendation is damaged by a dark and disturbing message hidden, not so subtly between the fluffy dogs and glamorous parties of the show dog lifestyle. As part of any dog show, contestants are judged on their abilities and physical attributes. One part, in particular, is the inspection of the dog’s private parts.”
Max, of course, is NOT cool with this, and when his partner Frank and a former champion show dog try to get him to accept this process, a certain dark and very dangerous theme for kids emerges. Maldonado explains:
“Since the inspection of the private parts will happen in the finals, Frank touches Max’s private parts to get him use to it. Of course, Max doesn’t like it and snaps at Frank for him to stop. Max is then told by the former champion, who has been through the process before, that he needs to go to his “zen place” while it happens so he can get through it. More attempts are made by Frank to touch Max’s private parts, but Max is still having trouble letting it happen and keeps snapping at him.”

Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has just revealed via an on-the-record conversation that House investigators have obtained new information about the spy campaign against Donald Trump that the White House still doesn’t know about.
“The White House is not yet fully informed regarding the extent to which intelligence was collected on the Trump campaign. There’s additional information that House investigators have collected. We need to make sure the White House gets appropriately informed about that because it will not be enough to have Rod Rosenstein and others at the Justice Department investigate themselves,” Gaetz said

I just wanted to briefly say… I know everyone means well… (and I’m not* speaking of anyone in particular here, as this is something I hear very often)… that if someone asks “why am I still here” (and not on new earth)… and we respond with something like.. “bc you have more work to do here”… it could be influencing someone to see in a way that is limiting them. Of course, by loa, we tend to attract what we still believe inside (tho not always)… but… if you tell someone they have more to heal and inner work to do… it may make them feel 1) that it’s true 2) that they haven’t done enough work and that they may never “make it.” I know that’s not the intention* when someone says these things, but I’m just putting it out there that it could influence them to feel that way, especially if they’re already feeling “doubtful.”
We are Masters, who inserted ourselves into a duality planet. We are always remebering more and more, of the mastery that we are. Healing is really about remembering. But isn’t it hard to remember, everything* we would, if we werent on a veiled planet? We would remember a lot more, if the veils weren’t there. So that’s why it feels more difficult than it should, as these Energies hit us and try to make us see* more, and try to de-limit us, to make our way out of our 3d issues. The energies are taking us further* into Remembrance, but it is hard to do while still on a veiled planet, and we do not* have to remember everything* before arriving at the Event. After the Event, the veils will* lift, and doing the rest of our Remembering, will be much easier!! And, we are continually remembering right now, moment by moment, so I refuse to push myself to go faster. It’s not kind to myself. I have gone fast for so long, and so have we all!!!
So while we are always* increasing our light and our frequencies (we eat, live, and breathe, light codes, do we not…?), we will continue expanding ourselves in new creative directions, even* after* we arrive at new earth (there is always endless learning!)…. still… we do not have to be “perfect” before we get to the Event/ new earth.
We have heard over and over again, that we do not* have to be fully* at 5d to arrive there. We just have to be “5d enough.” I think we all know this inside, if we feel for our Heart’s Knowing!!!
This is not to criticise anyone’s perspective in the least, but just saying let’s put awareness on our thoughts (and words, to others)… Bc I think the Event is more simple than the human mind tends to make it be. We reached the appropriate vibration as a whole (as a planet) and so that’s WHY we’ll have the Event and New Earth. It’s happening. That’s it. 
➡ And we don’t have to be so hard on ourselves, thinking that we are not “perfect enough” to get there. I hear many ppl say for a while now, that they are not “healed enough” to make it. Makes me a little sad, to hear that. I always say in my energy reports, to keep aligning within to your true, real Self. That the energies are opening more Light in us. But i stay away from wording things in a way, that suggests we should feel lack*, for where we are internally right now. Where we are is Beautiful. Where we are is Enough. Literally. We will always continue expanding. New Earth and post-Event life, is a balance*** between Enjoyment and Effort. Something that has been widely off-balance at old earth. We were made into a slave planet to make us constantly work, and we tend to Interpret things as “lots of work,” given our past programming. But we dont need to see our Future in that way.
Source prefers the Balance of Work and Play. Feel for your Heart’s Truth on all this. We know it Inside

We can re-frame all our past efforts, all our growth, thus far, as a Success. When we do, it changes how we Experience ourselves. It changes how we see others. I know i have been helpful and successful in raising the light on this planet (my guides remind me, all the time). And bc I see myself in that light, I see others in that light to. As I see and interact with others, I can SEE that they have done a lot, worked hard, took this planet to a Success Point… I see their Heart and that a lot of us still dont feel like we “did enough”… they would not call their Life a Success… but it IS… my guides remind me all the time to Interpret myself and my past and my now, as a Success. It’s true, not just nice-sounding words…!
We have* succeeded in raising the planet’s frequency. Mission impossible ➡ Accomplished.

There is much more to you than what the naked eye can see. The one you may identify with who is currently in human form, is but a speck of the vastness of who you are. To understand who you truly are, you need to understand, that you are part of the vastness of all that is in multiple expressions and forms existing in different realms simultaniously. There are aspects of you, that are pure light, tonal chords (music), forms that may seem alien depending on which realms or dimension they exist in. Amongst those are forms that may even seem scary, as they do not fit into the scheme of a humonoid appearance. That however doesn´t make them less real. In fact they are more real than what you perceive yourself at.
The reason to this fear is rooted in the human trait of fearing what you cannot intellectually fathom, that which lies outside your controle. However if you allow yourself to envision yourself as your galactic multiple self, you will feel a deep familiarity and sense of belonging, that cannot be fabricated. And if you open yourself to receive its gift of love, you will feel the all-encompassing unconditional love that it feels for you, beyond judgement. It doesn´t judge you as it is not limited by the 3D physical realm reality, which is defined by matter and linear time. This galactic self is eternal and not confined by human form, but is capable to change form thru pure will power and so it was also instrumental in the creation of your current human form. This higher aspect of you is a master of vibration and alchemical processes and love in its purest form.
It is time for you to encompass this vast intellegence into your being. Welcome your higher galactic aspect master avatar, open up to connect and commune with it, ask it for guidance and healing. Those that you label and sometimes worship as your galactic family, your space brothers and sisters of the cosmic councils and federations of light, are aspects of you, that are commited to serve in other realms while you play out your role in this human space suit. They are no different to you, but simply another aspect co-exisiting in other realms along with many other expressions of you. This is how vast you are, so why limitate yourself to your human self. Time to embrace the magnitude of who you are in all your splendor. When you open your heart to embrace it, you will find it is already within your very being… not out there in space but an innate part of your current reality.
