editor’s note:  shared by my new earth neighbor and friend Rick.  he said i could rewrite it if i wanted, but i decided to leave it as is.  (ok i just don’t feel like editing)  he had requested to visit last night with the specific request that he remember.  and wow – did he remember! what is so cool is yesterday i was cleaning – and not enjoying it one bit – when i heard “very soon you won’t need to do this – the house will just do it on its own”.  there are 2 parts ~ he first sent me the first one then later in the day, as he remembered more, the 2nd part.  have fun w/this.

part 1:  I went to the new, I seen the house, It looks like the pic I sent you but a bit taller on the side facing the lake. The cellar is out of the ground on the lake side, while being underground  on the rear side. The cellar part facing the lake is also all glass, and makes the cellar very bright during the day. I noticed a juice bar in the cellar with stools, as well as the game room. Walking out of the cellar, you are under the deck, I look towards the lake and see a dock extending out into the lake. I then walk up a path to the one side of the house and see a picnic table under a rather large pine. I see the horseshoe pit. I continue towards the rear entrance which has a smaller deck, I open the door and hear the swoosh of the cleaning system , and feel a weird sensation as passing threw it. I walk into a small room with a shoe rack ,I see a closet next to it, I extend my hand towards the door and the door opened on its own, then suddenly a coathanger on some sort of metal slider comes out of the closet lol. I had no coat so I laughed and took a step away and it went back in and the door closed lol.I then walk into the kitchen. I see a rather large modern area, with the replicator on a part of the counter.  I see a countertop glass cooktop, and some sort of oven. I see lots of beautiful wooden cabinets that I remember building, I see some sort of dishwasher but it is waterless, I’m sensing it works like the entry door cleaner lol. I see a  refrigerator, but it seems to not work like the ones we are use to. It only cools the items in it not the whole inside.     I then walk into the living room area, I see a rather large sectional couch in front of the natural stone fireplace, a recliner, several endtables, I look up an notice everything is natural wood ,a huge chandelier over the center of the room. , the ceilings are very high, there’s a balcony above with several doors. I go up the stairs and open the door, I see two bunk beds and two dressers, the floors are wood . I go to the next room ,open the door and see a king size bed ,two dressers, a rather large window looking into the woods. The third door is the master bedroom, also a king size bed , much furniture, small bathroom. I start my way back down and notice another door right at the top of the stairs, I open it and see another bathroom. I go back down, walk back outside look towards the lake and see a lavender sunset over the lake wow!!  How amazingly beautiful it is here, all I smell is crisp clean air with a hint of pine lol. I walk back to the replicator ask for a beer, grab it and go out the front slider to the deck , I see my favorite Adirondack chair made of wood ,and sit down and look out at the lake as the beautiful sunset continues for a while longer. I then take my last sip of beer and hear Clairs voice, she says have you seen all you wished to see, I said yes, now I would love it if I could stay, she says Rick you can see it’s all here , it’s all waiting for you , it won’t be much longer. Then I awoke. this morning remembering where I was and what I seen very clearly, more clear than ever before.

part 2:  I noticed as I arrived I was on the dirt road, I paused for a moment as I thought I heard a voice. I said is someone talking to me? A second later I here it is I the tree next to you saying welcome home we have missed you. I walked over gave the big tree a hug and said I have missed all of you too. I continue down the road hearing more trees and animals all saying hello, I say hello back to them all. I arrive at the back of the house and thought, let me go down to the creek and see the hot spring. Seeing the creek is only about 300ft to the side of the house, I walk down. As I get close I can see the steam rising and hear the water gurgling. I bend down on the edge and stuck my hand in the water, wow it was like hot bathwater, so seeing I had no towel I walked back found one and found a pair of shorts,  and walked back down. I walked in and sat on the rock ledge which is about 2ft under the water. I sat there and listened to the water, the birds and just relaxed for a while. Seems like I was there for an hour or more, then I got out and went to the house to dry off, as I walked threw the cleaner unit in the door suddenly I find myself dry lol, but the pants were still a bit damp. So I grabbed another pair of shorts and went out and shot some horseshoes. That’s about it besides the first part lol. Rick G
