U.S. Supreme Court allows Flint water contamination lawsuits

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday gave the green light to two class-action lawsuits filed by residents of Flint, Michigan who are pursing civil rights claims against local and state officials over lead contamination in the city’s water supply.

The justices left in place a July 2017 ruling by the Cincinnati, Ohio-based 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that revived the litigation after the lawsuits were thrown out by a lower court.

The high court rejected separate appeals filed by the city of Flint, Genesee County’s drainage commissioner and Michigan Department of Environmental Quality officials.

Trey Gowdy to McCabe: Trump Didn’t Get You Fired, Your Own Fellow Agents Recommended It (VIDEO)

In the aftermath of Attorney General Jeff Sessions firing FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe late Friday evening, many Democrats have come out against the move. Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) — a Republican — however, said McCabe’s firing was recommended by his own agency.

Gowdy further poked holes in McCabe’s statement that he released shortly after being fired:

That’s right. If you look at his statement, he was really upset that he was being blamed for ending something and the interesting part of his statement, which I hadn’t heard a lot of people talk about, is he was really blaming [Department of Justice]. The Department of Justice is who shut down the investigation. But you know what, Chris? We don’t live in a relativistic world. […] And you don’t get to decide when to tell the truth and when not to. If I let someone get to know the real me, what would they think?

I learned to hide the real me.

I believed no one would like the real me.

I felt unlovable because the real me did not deserve to be loved.

I began experiencing fear, shame, self-judgment and trust issues through the belief pattern that I could never be the real me.

I allowed these problems to be a controlling factor in the way I lived my life because what I cared about most of all were my family’s acceptance and approval. I continually sought their advice and opinion while sacrificing my own feelings, thoughts, experiences and choices in pursuit of illusive unconditional love. I wore the mask of someone who I thought would make them happy. I hid behind shyness trying to figure out who I needed to be to please them. Over time, I learned to be someone else.

After many years of therapy, I recognized this was a pattern in my family. This deep-rooted need for approval, acceptance and love from a parent, a spouse, a friend or an authority figure. I watched it destroy self-respect, taint relationships, and cause self-sabotage. There were countless examples of the belief that everyone you love will eventually leave you or disappoint you so “better to treat people poorly now to force them to leave sooner rather than later”.

And yet, the devil we know is much more powerful than the devil we don’t know. So, year after year, I continued this pattern of needing approval and acceptance from everyone around me. I allowed myself to be treated poorly, looked the other way and made excuses so that I could receive the love I always wanted. I deferred to the needs of others for so long that I forgot I had needs of my own.

The longer I wore this mask, the more faded I became.

I lost who I was.

I believed my opinions didn’t matter.

I sacrificed my needs for the needs of others.

I judged myself.

I lived in fear, self-loathing and pain.

Many of us are broken. Experiences change our perspective and transform us: birth, death, divorce, disease, suicide, marriage, weight loss, weight gain, change in financial status, disappointment and fear as well as a host of other situations and circumstances.

These heart shattering situations are so impactful, they can affect us for the rest of our lives; leaving a deep and sometimes lasting scar.

A Spell To Put An End to Financial Tyranny

 

Considering the day I have had in regards to money, considering how fed up and exhausted and worn out and just overly fucking done with changing my thoughts on money and the meditations I do around it and how much energy I have invested in welcoming abundance and offering gratitude and how none of that has changed my situation, I have allowed myself to see and admit and own the financial enslavement we have been put under, how money can and does entrap people, how utterly WRONG it all is.   And how DONE I am with all of THAT.  I am worthy of ALL NOW – not when I have more money to do what I need and want to do.

After Trump tariffs, Chinese solar company says it will build U.S. Factory

President Trump wants Chinese solar panels firms to make more of their products in the U.S. — and they appear to be getting the message.

A week after the Trump administration unveiled tariffs of up to 30% on imports of solar panels, one of China’s biggest manufacturers announced that it plans to open a new plant in the U.S.

JinkoSolar said in a statement Monday that its board of directors had given the go-ahead to “finalize planning for the construction of an advanced solar manufacturing facility in the U.S.”

The statement suggested Jinko’s decision was tied to the new tariffs, saying that the company “continues to closely monitor treatment of imports of solar cells and modules under the U.S. trade laws.”

Yellow Rose for Texas (YRFT) Update and SUMMARY – A SERIES of Shorts 3-16-18 – CATCHING up to SPEED

 

Editor’s note:  I awoke this morning, briefly wondering when I would see another update from her (YRFT).  For a few days now I have had the thought.  This usually means she will be releasing a video.  I am happy to see and listen to this one. She shares a beautiful message on who we are/where we are.  I also really appreciated the synchronicity where she speaks of us being in a movie, the movie is almost over.  While in the shower (my magical space), I suddenly felt in my body the anger I hold over the truth of how we really have been in a movie (a simulation you can also say).  I thought of The Truman Show and began going around in my mind’s eye, stating out loud what I am done with.  All of the false experiences.  The fake surroundings, above and below.  I could really feel that in my body and was a bit surprised as to why I was suddenly feeling this now.

There is a reason.  To let go of an experience, sometimes we have to process it out first.

That is what I did this morning.

While driving on March 13th, 2018 in Ohio, Justin saw lights coming from the upper right side of the screen.

McCabe Attorney Praised IG Probe, Until It Led To McCabe’s Termination

So attorney Michael Bromwich was for the OIG investigation (January 2017) until his client, Andrew McCabe, was found to have acted inappropriately/unlawfully as a result of the OIG investigation (March 2018) – and now he’s against it…  So goes life in the swamp.

Michael R Bromwich (Twitter HERE) is the attorney of record for fired Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe.  Mr. Bromwich responded to the firing of his client with the following statement (Pdf HERE) …

It is interesting to note the dates surrounding the preferred narrative as outlined by Andrew McCabe in his statement Friday evening, and this public letter from McCabe’s attorney, Michael Bromwich, also dated Friday March 16th, 2018.  …

Obviously, against the timing of a 10:00pm (EST) March 16th, 2018, public release from the DOJ Attorney General announcing McCabe’s termination of employment, in order for McCabe and Bromwich to have lengthy prepared statements ready for immediate release – they were well aware of the pending public release of the DOJ notice of termination.
