Summary: Findings from two new studies show dark chocolate consumption reduces stress and inflammation, while improving memory, immunity and mood.

Research shows there might be health benefits to eating certain types of dark chocolate.

New research shows there might be health benefits to eating certain types of dark chocolate. Findings from two studies being presented today at the Experimental Biology 2018 annual meeting in San Diego show that consuming dark chocolate that has a high concentration of cacao (minimally 70% cacao, 30% organic cane sugar) has positive effects on stress levels, inflammation, mood, memory and immunity. While it is well known that cacao is a major source of flavonoids, this is the first time the effect has been studied in human subjects to determine how it can support cognitive, endocrine and cardiovascular health.

Lee S. Berk, DrPH, associate dean of research affairs, School of Allied Health Professions and a researcher in psychoneuroimmunology and food science from Loma Linda University, served as principal investigator on both studies.

“For years, we have looked at the influence of dark chocolate on neurological functions from the standpoint of sugar content — the more sugar, the happier we are,” Berk said. “This is the first time that we have looked at the impact of large amounts of cacao in doses as small as a regular-sized chocolate bar in humans over short or long periods of time, and are encouraged by the findings. These studies show us that the higher the concentration of cacao, the more positive the impact on cognition, memory, mood, immunity and other beneficial effects.”

The flavonoids found in cacao are extremely potent antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents, with known mechanisms beneficial for brain and cardiovascular health. The following results will be presented in live poster sessions during the Experimental Biology 2018 meeting:

editor’s note:  thank you Deborah for sending me on the search for this one. very much resonating.  i am in tune enough to know when an experience is of my own creation or when it’s a matrix attack.  this recent experience w/the debit card i knew – i felt it – was a damn attack.  no coincidence it happened 24 hours after i had that beautiful inner experience over money and complete gratitude for where i was/what i had.  today we had a neighborhood gathering.  i was rushing around getting things together and heard “take your protection stones”.  i dismissed it thinking “i’m just going to be around some neighbors and kids.”  yeah well…..i had an experience which suddenly again, i could feeeeeeeeeeel this, was an attack.  i could see something come over another – could see with that inner eye this grayish energy above the individual.  i protected myself – and thought “that’s why i was guided to take my stones”.  i gotta tell you – as she says, the volume has been turned up from the a.i. machine – and more than ever i want to be alone in my own space – candles – saging – resins burning – lovely music ~ creating my own peaceful divine space (bubble as the video references) during this “time”.  i too feel this energy event wave is what knocks out the matrix a.i. virus…..  i pulled myself out of my funk yesterday – shrugging it off.  ain’t nobody gonna break me down….ain’t nobody gonna slow me down, oh no, i’ve got to keep on moving….  (speaking of songs i just finished up the video – total synchronicity – she ends it by saying “just keep truckin…” – that song – grateful dead – has been on my mind for days – so much so earlier this week i pulled out the cd of it and played it while out and about.”)  [wp-svg-icons icon=”happy” wrap=”i”]

Trump signs ‘right to try’ drug bill

President Trump signed a bill Wednesday allowing terminally ill patients access to experimental medical treatments not yet approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Dubbed “right to try,” the law’s passage was a major priority of Trump and Vice President Pence, as well as congressional Republicans.

Trump thanked lawmakers sitting in the audience who sponsored the bill, including Sen. Joe Donnelly, a vulnerable Democrat up for reelection in Indiana.

Despite calling Donnelly a “really incredible swamp person” earlier this month, Trump thanked the senator for his work on the bill.

Sen. Joe Manchin (W.Va.), another vulnerable Democrat up for reelection, was the only other Democratic co-sponsor on the bill, but did not attend the ceremony because he is in West Virginia this week, his office said.

Congress is on recess this week for Memorial Day.

Today council showed me that in the Etheric/Energetic planes of existence, there exists a “ Universal Medicine Cabinet. “.

The following Vision is reprinted from a recent Intenders Newsletter. We had so many appreciative responses from it that we decided to include it in The Vision Alignment Project. 

Tony here. I’ve had some truly amazing experiences in Intenders Circles over the years. Indeed, anywhere people gather in the name of the Highest Good, it calls forth our soul group, those with whom we’ve made agreements and arrangements long ago to reunite for the purpose bringing light unto the Earth and all Her people at this grand time in our evolution.

One such experience that happened in the Rohnert Park, CA Intenders Circle 10 years ago made a home in my heart and has stuck with me ever since. My friends, Garth and Dayadevi, hosted the Circle back then and we would regularly have 20 to 40 people encircling their living room. On the particular evening I’m referring to, Garth was saying his intentions when he paused, looked over at me, and said, “You know, Tony. there’s nothing I’d rather do in my life than to touch people with my hands and have them be healed right then and there.”

Looking back, I remember how the feeling in the room softened when he said it. Everyone was affected in one way or another. We all wanted to help and heal our fellow travelers, and we awaited the day when it would be a commonplace occurrence.

That day is coming. In fact, we can expect it at any moment. I see it ever so clearly. We are touching our friends and acquaintances with our hands, and they are instantly healed of all their health challenges. We are waving our arms in the air, and the polluted skies are cleared and cleansed. We are immersing our hands in the waters of our rivers, lakes and oceans, invoking the Love of God, and the waters are sweet and pure again. We are touching the Earth, and Her soils, Her plants, Her great trees, Her animals, Her creatures of all kinds are completely restored to their peak health and happiness. Everywhere you look, newly transformed, transcended Masters are bringing light into the dark simply by touching everyone and everything they see with their hands.

That is my Vision, and it is within reach now. I feel it. Once again, we, the people, are smiling and shining our highest lights for all to see. And, in response, the Earth Mother is smiling and shining Her light back upon us, as well – because we have done what we came here to do.
