An Internet pedophile ring with up to 70,000 members — thought to be the world’s largest —has been uncovered by police, a security official said Wednesday.
The European police agency Europol said in a statement that “Operation Rescue” had identified 670 suspects and that 230 abused children in 30 countries had been taken to safety. More children are expected to be found, Europol said.
It said that so far 184 people had been arrested and investigations in some countries were continuing. Most of those detained are suspected of direct involvement in sexually abusing children.
The website was shut down following the three-year investigation, Europol said.
“The website operated from a server based in the Netherlands and, at its height, boasted up to 70,000 members worldwide,” it added.

New video and intelligence from Crowdsource the Truth emerged Monday when editor Jason Goodman visited the law offices of Awan’s attorney. A law firm official acknowledged Awan was inside the office but would not allow him to speak on camera. According to several sources, Awan has been answering the phones at the law firm for untold weeks, possibly longer.

President Trump shook hands with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore shortly after 9 a.m. local time Tuesday, kicking off a historic summit meeting and marking a new era in relations between the U.S. and the totalitarian state known as the Hermit Kingdom.
The president and the dictator planned to meet one-on-one for approximately 45 minutes – joined only by their translators. Aides were then scheduled to join both men for expanded discussions and a working lunch. Sources told Fox News that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, White House Chief of Staff John Kelly and National Security Adviser John Bolton were among the U.S. officials expected to join the talks.
Trump arrived first at the summit site on Singapore’s Sentosa Island. Kim’s black armored limousine pulled in a short time later at the luxury resort for the world’s first meeting between a sitting U.S. president and a North Korean leader.
Despite the anticipation and early promise surrounding the talks, it was unclear how much could be accomplished after the White House unexpectedly announced Trump would depart Singapore by Tuesday evening. The White House said Trump was leaving early because negotiations had moved “more quickly than expected,” but gave no details about any possible progress in preliminary talks.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un visiting several Singapore attractions on Monday night SINGAPORE – North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is spending his second night in Singapore on a mini tour that includes some of the Republic’s best-known sights such as Gardens by the Bay and the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) integrated resorts. At around 9.10pm on Monday (June 11), his motorcade was seen leaving the St Regis Hotel in the Tanglin area where his delegation is being housed at, before driving past the Raffles City area towards Marina Bay. Mr Kim, who arrived in Singapore on Sunday ahead of his historic summit with United States President Donald Trump in Sentosa on Tuesday, stopped by Gardens by the Bay first and is expected to also visit the MBS SkyPark or the nearby Merlion Park. At around 8pm, the observation deck of the 57th-storey sky park at the MBS, which offers panoramic views of Marina Bay and the central business district, was closed off to the public, ahead of its usual 10pm timing. MBS staff were seen polishing fingerprints off the glass panels of the observation deck. The Straits Times also saw a heavy security presence comprising MBS personnel and police officers. Mr Kim, who is North Korea’s Chairman of the State Affairs Commission, may also visit other sights such as the Esplanade performing arts centre. The mini-city tour will cap a rather quiet public schedule for Mr Kim on Monday, compared to his officials and Mr Trump. Apart from a meeting with Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana on Sunday evening, Mr Kim has not been seen stepping out of the St Regis hotel in Orchard Road where he and his delegation are being housed at.
