Today we hold in our hearts the words of MLK

My girl and I spent part of the day listening to Martin Luther King’s beautiful speech “I Have A Dream” on August 28, 1963 in Washington, D.C. The words of that moving, powerful speech still ring true today.  Only this time while we have removed the “Whites Only” signs and have, for the most part, eliminated segregation, racism still exists in our minds and in our hearts.  In our behaviors and thoughts.  We still have ghetto’s.  Gangs. Police brutality.  An extreme percentage of blacks in our prisons.  And we now have a media that works against the people’s desire for freedom by creating lies and exaggerations to keep the division going.  And while the majority used to be lulled in their slumber by their words, we at least have a growing awakening along with a President who sees their lies.

The needs in MLK’s words still have a place in our society, in our conversations with one another.  For there is not a one of us that does not hold a racist thought of some sort, except perhaps for the youngest of children who have not yet been tarnished by television propaganda and public education dogma and the dismissal of bully behavior.

Love is the answer.  Love through honest self-assessment.  Love through our speak with others as we share our stories and love through putting aside personal judgment as we listen to the stories of others.  And love through making the best choice we can make for ourselves.  And lastly – love through right action which includes this plan we see unfolding and holding those putting the plan in place accountable for every promise made to ensure our total Freedom from any and all acts rules laws and behaviors of oppression and control.

Here is the speech that, for me, never gets old….

President Trump making ‘major announcement’ about shutdown, border security Saturday afternoon

WASHINGTON D.C. — President Trump will be making a ‘major announcement’ on Saturday afternoon about the government shutdown and border security.

He said on Twitter Friday that the announcement will be made at 3 p.m. from the White House.

The government has been shut down for nearly a month, making this the longest government shutdown in history.

The president is insisting on $5 billion for the border wall, but legislation for that does not have support from Congress.

What kind of law did JFK Jr. practice?

my mate asked me that question.  so i said “i can find that for you.”  here’s what i found below (SOURCE).  found his specialty quite interesting….perhaps we may see him again in the Civilian Trials.  brand new prosecutor?  i recall reading (and posting) though a few days ago about the Civil Courts running out of money soon (due to the shutdown).  it was alleged that as of the 21st, if there is no further funding, the cases can be handled by the Military Court system.  also been thinking the 21st is MLK day ~ another beautiful Soul taken out by the D/S….

“John F. Kennedy Jr., 29, finally passed the New York State bar exam on his third try, the New York Post reported. The only son of the assassinated President also passed the Connecticut state bar exam, allowing him to practice law in that state, judicial officials said Friday. If Kennedy had failed on his third attempt, he would have been out as a prosecutor in the office of the Manhattan district attorney. Kennedy graduated from New York University Law School in 1989. He has been assigned to a unit that focuses on white-collar crime, low-level political corruption and other felonies. His sister, Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg, 32, passed the bar exam on her first attempt three years ago.”

Donald and Melania Trump make surprise visit to US troops in Iraq

editor victoria’s comment ~ oh he trolled the media big with this one.  he knew they would be paying a visit – he just didn’t advertise it thus encouraging the fake news outlets to run a piece saying it had been since 2002 since a president failed to visit the troops over the holiday’s.  bless these two and their authenticity.  such a new feeling towards a sitting administration.

here is a link to a piece saying what i had read earlier – there was no callsign for this flight.  also of interest – the last sentence:  “There has been no word from the White House and President Trump has not tweeted for 17 hours.”  17?  lol

President Trump, who has been criticized for not visiting US troops during the holidays, slipped off to an air base in Iraq on Wednesday.

Trump, wearing a dark suit and red tie, and first lady Melania Trump met with military personnel on Wednesday at Al Asad Air Base in Iraq – his first visit with military members in in a war zone since he entered the White House almost two years ago.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders posted photos on her Twitter page showing Trump and his wife posing with the troops after the super-secret trip.

A France citizen’s perspective of the Yellow Vest Riots

#FRANCE: From an anon.

“My wife is French & in France & said there is misunderstanding of the Yellow Vest movement. She said: “I am seeing a lot of wrong information, so I prefer to explain a bit better: It is not just the tax on fuel; it is mostly the Macron Govt cut the retirement paycheck for everybody (including my parents), and they increased gas and electric bills in all homes, all taxes increased (property taxes, habitation, city taxes, income taxes), and cut the taxes for the ultra rich (ISF). Macron does not care for the ecology. He did not increase gas tax to protect earth but to make more money. One of the best french environmental activists, Nicolas Hulot, was Ecology Minister under Macron but he resigned because it was impossible to do anything sincerely for the environment in the Macron government. Also, fuel was already over the equivalent of $5 per gallon with high taxes, and most people already drive very small cars. Increasing the tax is very regressive, hits the poor hardest. They cant get to work. Another approach to ending oil addiction is needed.
Altogether, it is ultimately class warfare.”

“Macron gave huge tax breaks to the very richest and then tried to put the climate burden on the working class. So the working class are rioting. They’re not protesting globalism, they’re protesting oligarchy and the domination of the very wealthiest. We live under class warfare and we lay down and take it. Time for REAL CHANGE.”
