Report of Israeli plans to fund more illegal settlements in West Bank

The Israeli cabinet is set to ⁠approve a plan to allocate more than $350m to build ‌61 new illegal Israeli settlements in the ⁠occupied West Bank, ⁠according to a reporter with the news outlet Axios.

In a post on X, Axios’s Barak Ravid ⁠said that news of the Israeli move comes as the “Trump administration – along with governments across Europe and the Middle East – is focused on the escalating crisis with Iran”.
